Nice. The black fenders sure make it stand out.   Paul

Interesting how the ED pickup had the boxy bed unlike the DT,Plymouth,Ford, dodge,Chevy, and other pickups of the thirties and forties with the flared lip! Mack practicality maybe more usable cargo area?

Also a 3 + long ton load capacity. Modern would have been a Chevy C-30 .

Same here..The data plate on my 49 Diamond T 201 reads vehicle weight 3865 and a gross of 8000!! That is 2 tons on single 7.50 x 16 tires, the dual tire axle was an option!! 9 leaf springs on the steering and 13 leaves in the rear..

Has one of these Mack pickup ever come up for sale and at what price? Are the E models some what less scarce then the pickups?Wouldn't mind having one of the E models as a run around truck.

I just bought one couple weeks ago, waiting on getting it delivered now. It was a  lot less than the Mack Jr I bought though.
