Republican presidential contender Donald Trump would deport all undocumented immigrants and rescind U.S. President Barack Obama's executive orders on immigration if he is elected to the White House, he said in an interview with NBC News.

"We're going to keep the families together, but they have to go," Trump told NBC's "Meet the Press."

Asked by host Chuck Todd about illegal immigrants who might have nowhere else to go, Trump said: "We will work with them.

"They have to go ... we either have a country, or we don't have a country," he added.

Trump, 69, also said in the interview he would need to rescind Obama's executive orders on immigration, including one that protects from deportation the children of parents who came to the country illegally.

The real estate mogul and television personality, who has rocketed to the top of opinion polls among the 17 Republican contenders, has aroused controversy with his provocative comments on illegal immigration, including describing some undocumented migrants from Mexico as criminals and rapists.

There are an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States.

His gigantic ego will require him to follow through on his commitments and I do believe he will. I like that he will finally will build a fence and Mexico will pay for it.

Note: Congress approved the money for a fence long ago but only short sections were ever built. Various congressman brought it to a halt because Repubs want cheap illegal labor an Dems want illegal voters.

Basically we the people were sold out and our wishes ignored in favor of the desires of lobbyists. I'd say no big deal to get Mexico to pay. Starts with enforcing trade agreements already in place, revising or repealing NAFTA, etc. Lots of things that can be done and I believe Donald will do them. His ego requires him to live up to his.

The far left Latinos and La Raza and their ilk object to being called "illegals." I, not being politically correct, and desiring to be more precise, prefer to call them "criminal trespassers.

One other note...We already have a system in place for employers to check the status of job applicants. It is called E-Verify. I propose a $10,000. fine and minimum 6 months imprisonment in a federal penitentiary for the President or CEO or Owner of a company for each incidence of an illegal hired without E-Verify confirmed eligibility. The revenue from these fines to be used to cover the cost of manning the fence, men, vehicles, structures, etc.

Montreal was corrupted to the bone, it still but the new mayor direct the city as a business, and he's the boss. It work great. Mr Trump is for sure a wise business men. Myself i can only see this guy rock the place.

You should take note of what's been going on in Europe over the last 15 years. They are overflowing with both immigrants AND illegal aliens..........there systems are overloaded, never having been intended/designed for the burden they have now due to these masses. Look at Europe, which should shock you, and you can see where we'll soon be.

Why are illegal aliens allowed to remain here, draw benefits and put their children in school............rather than being thrown back over the fence and forbidden from ever returning to the US - the penalty for intentionally throwing our immigration procedures to the curb and entering our country illegally?

Agreed, our policy of U.S. citizenship through birth should be immediately revised. Children can not be entitled if the parents are illegal aliens. The policy, when created, was not intended to accommodate this situation. The loophole must be closed.

Trump says he will push to end the constitutionally protected citizenship rights of children of any family living illegally inside the U.S.

"They have to go," Trump said, adding: "What they're doing, they're having a baby. And then all of a sudden, nobody knows...the baby's here."

Native-born children of immigrants — even those living illegally in the U.S. — have been automatically considered American citizens since the adoption of the 14th amendment of the U.S. Constitution in 1868.

The odds of repealing the amendment's citizenship clause would be steep, requiring the votes of two-thirds of both houses of Congress and support from three-fourths of the nation's state legislatures. Republicans in Congress have pushed without success to repeal that provision since 2011.

"They're illegal," Trump said, describing native-born children of people living illegally in the US. "You either have a country or not."

Trump's remarks came as his campaign website posted his program for "immigration reform." Among its details: Making Mexico pay for a permanent border wall. Mandatory deportation of all "criminal aliens." Tripling the force of immigration officers by eliminating tax credit payments to immigrant families residing illegally in the U.S.

He said that families with U.S.-born children could return quickly if deemed worthy by the government. "We're going to try and bring them back rapidly, the good ones," he said, adding: "We will expedite it so people can come back in. The good people can come back."

Trump said a tough deportation policy was needed because "there's definitely evidence" of crimes linked to immigrants living in the country illegally.

Trump said he would waste little time rescinding President Barack Obama's executive actions aimed at allowing as many as 3.7 million immigrants living illegally in the U.S. to remain in the country because of their U.S.-born relatives. Obama's November 2014 actions were halted by temporary injunctions ordered by several federal courts in rulings challenging his executive powers to alter immigration policies without Congressional approval. The cases could lead to the U.S. Supreme Court.

"We have to make a whole new set of standards," Trump said. "And when people come in, they have to come in legally."

Trump's plan was endorsed by Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., who chairs a Senate subcommittee on immigration.

"This is exactly the plan America needs," said Sessions. "Crucially, this plan includes an emphasis on lifting struggling minority communities, including our immigrant communities, out of poverty, by preventing corporations from bringing in new workers from overseas to replace them and drive down wages."

On Sunday, Ohio Gov. John Kasich echoed Trump's call to finish construction of an incomplete system of barriers on the nation's southern border with Mexico. There are still gaps in the barriers, which have been under construction since 2005.

Speaking on CBS' "Face the Nation," Kasich said he would "finish the wall" but would then work to legalize 12 million illegal immigrants now living in the U.S. (Another Obama-like plan to let illegals stay........No, the illegals all need to go! )

Kasich said he would "make sure we don't have anybody — any of the criminal element here." He would also revive the guest-worker programs that previously brought in temporary workers to aid in farming and other industries hobbled by labor shortages.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush supports an eventual plan to legalize the status of immigrant families. (Yet another plan to let the illegals stay........No, the illegals all need to go! )

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio worked with senators from both parties to develop a comprehensive plan in 2013 that would have legalized the status of many immigrant families. (And yet another politician who wants to let the illegals stay........No, the illegals all need to go! )

By the way - how about this for a start. Executive order #1 from the Donald. All Aero Mexico and Mexicana commercial flights to the U.S must land at either LAX, HOU, El Paso, Phoenix, or Miami Intl. Those 5 U.S. destinations only. Those planes may not depart until our Customs Service has filled all seats with Mexican Illegals.

Or some version of that idea. Add in LaGuardia and O'Hare if you wish. You get the idea

Yeah, well, just running my mouth as usual. Maybe a Federal judge at each point of entry to decide appropriate punishment on the spot according to new federal guidelines. No appeal process for illegals.

And, since we are now buddies with Cuba, maybe we hire the Cuban government to carry out incarceration services for illegals who bring drugs into our country. You know the Castro Bros would love to have some Yankee $.

Judge passes sentence then turns the prisoner over to the U.S. Navy who is responsible to transport the prisoner(s) to Gitmo. That is if we still have a Gitmo. Say hello to my buddy Toki who is smarter than John Kerry.

Texas denying birth certificates to illegal immigrants' children

CNN / August 18, 2015

Two civil rights groups are suing the state of Texas (the state with backbone), alleging authorities are denying birth certificates to children of undocumented [illegal] immigrants born in the United States in violation of the U.S. Constitution.

The lawsuit was originally filed in May by the Texas Civil Rights Project and Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid. It was amended Tuesday so that the civil rights groups could represent "a large number of plaintiffs."

The lawsuit originally included six families as plaintiffs. The number as of Tuesday was 17, and the civil rights groups say they're getting ready to represent many more families.

At issue is the validity of a form of ID that undocumented immigrants, mainly Mexicans and Central Americans, use to obtain a birth certificate for their children born in the United States.

Jim Harrington, a civil rights attorney, says Texas state authorities used to accept the matricula consular, an identification card issued by the consulates of Mexico and other countries.

But Harrington, the director of the Texas Civil Rights Project, says the Texas Department of State Health Services, which issues birth certificates, recently reversed its policy and stopped accepting consular IDs.

"It had never been an issue before. It was relatively easy for families of these U.S.-born children to get a birth certificate," he said in a phone interview with CNN.

Not having a birth certificate leaves a child born in the United States to undocumented parents in legal limbo. The child is unable to get medical services or register for school, for example. Technically, it also makes the child deportable (Here’s a thought, why not have our government enforce our immigration laws and deport the entire family of illegal immigrants?).

Harrington said he considers the action of the state of Texas "a violation of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and its Equal Protection Clause." The amendment, ratified in 1868, says in part that "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

But Chris Van Deusen, a spokesman with the Texas Department of State Health Services, said the policy has nothing to do with discrimination.

"DSHS provides certified birth certificates without regard to the requestor's immigration status and has never accepted the matricula consular as adequate identification," he said.

Van Deusen also said that the problem for the state of Texas is that the documents used to obtain consular IDs "are not verified by the issuing consulate." He added that other states and federal agencies reject consular IDs for the same reason.

The state of Texas provided CNN with a list of valid documents of identification. The list includes foreign passports accompanied by a visa issued by the U.S. State Department, a Mexican voter registration card or even a foreign identification with an identifiable photo of the applicant.

Harrington, the civil rights attorney, insists that while the policy's stated purpose of making the process more secure sounds fair, the effects of this policy and its application are devastating to children born in the United States.

"Frankly, I think this is part of the state's anti-immigrant stance our political leaders have. They talk about making the process more secure, but that's nonsense. They're just building barriers so that people don't register their children," he said.

This all sounds great!!! Now if Mr. Trump will state that ALL welfare reciepents MUST PASS a drug test like us workers supporting them have to.

He wants Citizenship, random drug testing and 20 hours of work or volunteering a week. Screw up and no assistance ever. He also wants SNAP for health foods no soda, junk food or such. Paul

IMO....hard to say what will happen with his pres. run......I have been thinking though...has he lied about anything so far??? and Hillary is out there making jokes about her political shenanigans...as for immigration....whatever the outcome..if any, you have to remember that people in this country won't do alot of the work that the Mexican and others do.....so where does that leave us?

Couple of thoughts:

1. The people here illegally are a potential source of votes. That is reason number one why they stay.

2. The people here illegally are a source of cheap labor as pointed out previously, again making the will of politicians very soft and keeping the resolution of the problem at bay. Both 1 and 2 are outrageous.

3. The easiest way to have them leave is to cut off the flow of cash. If we simply enforce the existing laws regarding the hiring of illegals, and I believe the laws about giving them welfare as well, they will simply have to leave or live in the street. I don't want them to live in the street, but America cannot support every third world nation. It's not fare to the citizens and it's not fair to our children who will suffer the consequences.

4. We need to enforce the laws surrounding immigration. This includes monetary, criminal and health screenings with required shots etc. If you fail any minimum requirements, sorry but go away.

5 The borders must be secure. Given the dangers of criminals, drugs, disease and the drain on society as a whole, it must be done...The fed exists to protect the country as a whole, Right?

6. The drugs are an incredible problem. Mass and NH are suffering numerous daily heroin overdoses and fatalities. These are high school students, athletes, moms and dads. It is everywhere and nobody is immune or exempt. Marty Meehan's son OD'd last week in my town. That is the former congressman form Massachusetts. The drugs from the south are a major problem. People are dying in droves and we need to stop it for real.

Will I vote for a guy who I think will clamp down on the thoughtless, illegal, immoral and outrageous neglect of the citizens of this country all so the politicians can "win". Hell yah. Especially if he is willing to stand up for what is right and just and can say the truth for a change. He may be crude and say some things I don't like, but given the options of Hilary or that communist from Vermont...I think it is time to make America great again, and secure, and safe for our kids, and safe for our financial future in the world. Remember Rome.
