Popular Post rhasler
In fact there are many, but this one in particular could use your help. He is a kind and humble man, despite his prominent position. His name is Ben Bruckner. Some of you may know that name, most of you probably will not. Ben was the head of Bruckner Truck Sales until entering semi-retirement a few years ago and assuming a less active role with the company. Ben and his family have been involved with Mack Trucks for decades, and continues to be today. The company was founded in 1932 and has grown and improved under Mr. Bruckner's wise guidance. Recently his health has taken a turn for the worse and his family has asked for prayers for his well being, I am passing that request onto you to do with as you wish. 5 Quote "Mebbe I'm too ugly and stupid to give up!" Popular Post mackdaddy
Ben was a big name with Mack in many of my old Bulldog magazines from the 60's. He has been around a long time. We have had a job in Hobbs, NM and they took care of a few issues with our Mack when our driver was delivering.

rhasler
Yes, I'm sorry to say that Ben passed last night around 11 PM Central time. As of now I haven't heard much of anything regarding funeral arrangements beyond the date and time of burial, which will be Tuesday Dec. 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM. As I learn more I will post details so that any well wishers can communicate their sympathies to the family. I know the family will miss him greatly, as will his many employees. rhasler
Ok everyone, here's the information that I have gotten from the family, please feel free to communicate your sympathies to the family. Thank you all. Many of you have expressed an interest in making a donation in memory of Mr. Bruckner and have inquired as to where such memorial gifts should be made. The Bruckner Family is extremely humbled that you would want to honor their husband, father, and grandfather in such a way. Should you desire to make a gift in the memory of Ben Bruckner Jr., the family has asked that these gifts be made to the Gideon's international-Amarillo or to the Polk Street United Methodist ChurchThe Gideon's International-AmarilloPO Box 2304Amarillo, Tx. 79105-2304Polk Street United Methodist Church1401 S.
