  1. My garage cleaned with gasoline and then blew out with leaf blower. I think it was off the truck when they did this.
  2. I know that many of you have coated your tank internals but I cannot bring myself to put anything into my tanks except the fuel that is used. I feel the odds are against me because there is too great a chance the coating will come off and cause more problems than the tank not being coated.
  3. Jim, I think you are correct. I have looked a little here locally for used shoes but nothing yet.
  4. Glenn, thanks for the reply but you apparently missed the sentence where I said I have only 1 good shoe.
  5. I failed to state that this is a 1954 truck. Haldex has nothing. Thanks.
  6. I need both sets of shoes for the single axle 2 speed Eaton rear on my WC 22 White. The Eaton part numbers are 35857 & 35858 or newer numbers 33093 & 33094. I have only I good shoe so I cannot just buy pads. These original shoes were cast and someone in WI crossed over to a steel quick change shoe (4514 Rockwells) but they would not fit. These shoes are 16.5 X 6 X .75. The White numbers are 825414 and 825415. The International numbers are 118529R-91 and 118530R-91 Thanks.
  7. I am thinking of buying a single axle low boy 33.5 feet long and 8000 pounds. Need to get to central VA or at least closer from Dequincy, LA. Fred
  8. Click on the Envelope looking icon in top right corner. When you put your cursor on it, it should say "Messages".
  9. Ezrider, how about some pictures of your copilot who we see near the end of your video?
  10. I was in the USAF from 1964 to 1968 and was a diesel electric power generation type. The largest we had were around 1800 KW and were 6 cylinder in line White Superiors. They operated at 450 or 900 RPM (can not remember-too long ago). My job as a rookie on shift was to climb up onto the catwalk and fill the oiler cups for the rocker arms every 4 hours. They were dual fuel (natural gas and diesel). We ran them 24/7 at Norton AFB, San Bernardino, CA. for radar input form southwest US. They claimed commercial power was not reliable enough.
  11. Where do they use engines like these for generators?
  12. It is not a 3000. I think it is a Compact. Something after the 3000. This is a 3000.
  13. The week is not complete without "Pictures of the Week". Where are you OD?
  14. Ken, I use Outlook and I am having no problems. I have it on my phone and desktop computer.
  15. Wayne, it is looking very good. That interior cleans up real well.
  16. This is not mine and I know nothing about it except what you can see. Located in Scranton, PA. https://www.ebay.com/itm/28-Ft-Foot-Dry-Van-Trailco-Trailer-Produce-1940s-1950s-Round-Nose-Single-Axle/132349077260?hash=item1ed09ea70c:g:OiMAAOSwzqFY-pSd&vxp=mtr
  17. I would verify no hoses have come off assuming your truck has them. After that I would verify the heater core and A/C cores are not plugged. Your fan probably blows through them. EDIT: I do not mean coolant hoses or A/C hoses but ventilation air hoses.
  18. I would not worry about the condition of the muffler on the inside as long as nothing appears wrong with the way the truck runs. My replacement muffler for my MH came from the Mack dealer and I was surprised that it was straight through but it is not loud. I forget what it cost.
  19. My E 6 300 with 9 speed O/D and 4.0 rear will get right above 10.0 bobtail.
  20. Carl, Happy Birthday and many more. It was good to talk to you at Tri-State.
  21. My MH driver side door has never latched properly-needed to be slammed to latch. Also I could not lock and unlock the driver door with the key. I replaced my exterior latches and lock sets. The passenger door works like a charm but I still cannot lock and unlock the driver door. I think the latch is adjusted too tight and there is too much tension for the key to unlock the door. The latch on the door seems to have a fixed position (not adjustable) and I am having trouble with the post on the jam. It appears to be adjustable and I finally have it loose but it does not want to slide away from the cab to lessen the tension on the door. Suggestions??
  22. I have a friend who was a welder for the Big Muskie. He had a small section of one of the electrical feeders to it and it was big. He told me when they moved the shovel that they pulled the electrical cables with a bull dozer.
  23. Greg, that is a very nice looking MH. Hope to see it in Winchester.
