At this point I’d talk to a lawyer about suing Mack for down time and the runaround and to take that pos back. I know if I had a brand new truck and was treated like you are being treated I’d do anything I could to get my money back and NEVER buy another product from them.

Truck looks really sharp.

They drove thousands of miles with no ac, likely now power steering or power breaks and enjoyed every second of it.

The 8.3 is an excellent little engine. The little L model ford local city tractors they had when I was at fed ex were great little trucks.

That's an interesting idea Vlad. It would be way more work to turn a tanker into a camper but man it would be neat.

I wasn’t talking about buying a new incident command vehicle but more like one retired from the fleet so to speak. Ranchhopper posted one he saw for sale on here a year or two ago and it was a low mileage r model. I believe it was under $6000 for the vehicle and since it was an incident command unit it had a bathroom, on board generator and curbside plug ins as well.

Well which ever route you go Rob please (as I’m sure you will) document this thoroughly. I’ve been wanting to turn a semi into an event for years. Thought an air stream mounted on a b model would look great. Also thought on of those incendent command center emergency vehicle would make an excellent rv platform.

What a beast, and those old traction lug super singles look pretty neat as well.

You’re right about that. Literally as I write this it’s snowing like hell and depending on which forecast you believe supposed to give us between 5”-8”. This has been the longest winter ever. It snowed in early October and we will likely have snow in May still so that makes 7 months of legit winter here this year.

Think I'll hire this gal to mow my lawn. I was honestly looking up washing machine repair on YouTube and this gal was in the thumbnail of a washing machine repair video so I figured she'd know best how to fix a washing machine. I'm inviting her over for milf I mean milk and cookies to discuss a lawn mowing contract with her. I'm going to try and find out if she is from winfall too. Well in glad to see we aren't the only ones still getting snow. Got about 5" total last weekend and now the forecast says 6-7" this Thursday. Ummm I’d seriously question Volvo being the toughest truck. Guess what you don’t see in the oil fields or heavy haul operations? Volvo’s. Volvo has bought out more truck brands than likely anyone else. SO buying out the competition and burying it should give them a huge market share. They should be the juggernaut of truck sales but they’re not. I’ve drove two Volvo’s and disliked the plastic-y interior (similar to the cascadias) and the cheesy hieroglyphs on the switches instead of words. I don’t want to guess what a switch does before I turn it on. I know this last point doesn’t mean much but I don’t ever see 20 or 30 year old Volvo’s on the road or collectors collecting them which is another reason why I think they are unpopular. Just my opinion and observations
