  1. Other dog, I had a dream last night that you had a cook-out at your place and a tractor parade, but instead of big, juicy steaks you made sushi. The person with the winning tractor was woman who didn't look like any of the women above. Her prize was a dozen duck eggs which she threw around your house. Maybe I'm spending too much time on BMT. Mike
  2. Congratulations and welcome to the site. It is a neat truck. If is for fire. Someone else will have to answer the rest. Will you keep the rescue body on it? Mike.
  3. Neat truck, but I am not up for a project like that. Have you posted it on the Brockway site?
  4. Sorry if you already know this, but since your truck is a B67 it should have had a flush mounted bumper. It had the steps cut in the bumper because it did not stick out and could not be stepped on. It also would not have had the grill guard. I don't think it came with tow hooks, but I am not certain. If it did, I assume they were mounted behind the holes in the bumper. My father's. B66 is off getting worked on so I cannot look at that to compare. The goal of the B66/B67 was a shorter BBC (bumper to back of cab) so extended bumper did not make sense. But it wouldn't surprise me if you could order a B67 with it. You could have your truck built the way you wanted it and you can built your truck the way you want it. Nice truck by the way and good luck with it. Mike.
  5. Steve, I'm looking for the same thing. My water bottle fell through he hole on the way to Macungie and rode on the transmission the rest of the way. Let me know if you figure something out. Michael
  6. I have a visor but not sure it is a Lund. It has a scrape on it from when the truck was laid over on the Schuylkill. I'll try to get a picture of it tomorrow.
  7. I drove to Arizona just after the blizzard of 1995. The snow that was on the roads in Virginia and Tennessee was still there when I drove home three weeks later. When I asked a gas station attendant why the snow was still on the highway she replied with much drama, "We got 3 inches of snow!!" We go 24 inches in PA and the roads where clear before I left my driveway. Glad you made it home safe.
  8. Here is a 707 on eBay. Pretty pricey though. I paid $1200 for one. I thought that was ok. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Mack-Thermodyne-707-Six-Cylinder-Engine-Transmission-/161869635382 There was one in Texas on Craigslist a few months ago but I cannot find it now. I would have bought it if it were closer. Mike.
  9. Where are they now? I'll take them.
  10. That is a buddy's Auction company. I'm supposed to go to an Easter egg hunt with my son that morning but I might need to skip it.
  11. HeavyGunner: You are the closest. You have to buy it. I would love an R model rescue, but now is not the time and it is too far away. It should do fine on a drive home though. Mike
  12. How much for the radiator? Can you post pictures of that? Where are you in PA? Pittsburgh? Mike
  13. That will be great. I agree. Definitely better to go wider than 10' on the doors if you can. I am yes, you will fill whatever size building you build. Keep us posted on the progress.
  14. I'm sure this truck was advertised on here before. It looks good in pictures, but they have not had it running in quite a few years. It is owned by Bard Trucking out of Leola, PA. It is maroon.
  15. It's about 18 hours from me. If it were two hours away. I would buy it. What would it cost to have it shipped to PA? Can anyone bring it along to Macungie? Mike.
  16. I don't waste my breath asking permission.
  17. My 1964 F model has a 864 V8 in it. Here is a 1961 G73T without an engine.
  18. You can try Matt Pfahl in Bethlehem CT. http://www.macktruckrestorations.com/Page2/page2.html
  19. Welcome to the forum. Where are you located? Watts is the best place to look for parts. They also host this site. They have hub caps for the C600, but the A40 probably takes a different style. You can look for them on EBay but I don't see them often. A great place to find stuff is at the ATCA National Truck Show in Macungie PA. http://www.antiquetruckclubofamerica.org/news.html. It is on the Friday and Saturday of Father's Day weekend every year. If you are not a member of ATC(Antique Truck Club of America) you should join. http://www.antiquetruckclubofamerica.org/store.html. You can place a free want add in their magazine,Double Clutch. http://www.antiquetruckclubofamerica.org/advertise.html. Let's see some pictures of the trucks. Mike.
  20. I know where there are two Mack trailers in northeast PA. Maybe they are not there anymore. They were in bad shape, but they still existed. I have thought many times about buying them, but always spend my money on something else. One was a flat trailer. The other had a cole body with multiple doors down each side. I have pictures somewhere but I don't know where. Mike
  21. You can drive your dream truck whenever you want. I'd like Tom Spencer's BX that is now owned by Iowa 80 and the Wellington F model that is owned by ATHS. Might as well dream big.
  22. Here is one is Houston. https://m.facebook.com/groups/61776127093?view=permalink&id=10153919602857094&src=email_notif
  23. Congratulations. I hear full costs are cheap to start but go up dramatically as it ages. The exhaust gets worse too.
  24. Is that the engine serial number because I have never seen a truck serial number like that, neither commercial not fire. Mike
