  1. The Southeastern PA Chapter of ATCA is coming to my house March 31 to see the trucks my father and I have dragged home, We have a bunch of Macks, but also some Brand Xers. None that start with a P, but won't rule it out for the future. If anyone on here is interested you are welcome. I live just outside of Pottstown PA. My address is 1466 Manatawny Dr, Boyertown, PA, 19512. It is easy to get to. Go into Pottstown on 663/King St from PA Rt 100. Go to the next stop light at Manatawny St and turn left. My house is three miles out on the left. You can't miss the trucks. You can come any time after 1pm. Hope to see some of you there. Mike Yarnall 610 764 8283
  2. These trucks are just down the road from where I work. He stopped using the tow truck about 5 years ago. It is pretty nice, but it has always sat outside, never garaged. I don't like the collor, but that is what his hole fleet is painted. I stopped about 3 years ago and he told me $6000 for the tow truck and two parts trucks. I should have bought them then. He had them listed in double clutch a few months back. He must have sold one of the parts trucks. Mike
  3. I can't save them all. I am going to cut up a B42s, a B85f chassis and a B61s frame. I would like to keep them, but the township has tagged them and i don't have anywhere to go with them. There isn't much good left on them.Mike
  4. We have to 10 gas job B's and they all have square steel step tanks. I would check the date on the tag and see if matches the year of manufacture of the truck. Mike
  5. I have a couple B model frames I am going to cut up. I can save you one. I might even have one one the shelf. Mike
  6. We have a B66 with a concave cab and one with a standard cab. It is just an option. I was using that as an example like single axle versus tandem axle. They don't have anything to do with the model. You could have gotten various models with various options. The model implies certain things like engine and hood length, but not number of axles or cab style. You could.put sleeper cab in with the cab options. They were not kept track of either. Certainly there are many people.on here who know a lot more about this than I do. If i had more.time I would go to the Mack museum and figure some.of these things out. It would be a fun rainy day project. Mike
  7. While Mack kept track of how many of each model was made they did not keep track of thing like number of axles and cab type. The only way to figure out how many single axle.B75's were made would be to go to the Mack museum and look at the built sheet or serial number for.each one. At least with axle number you could look at the serial number list and everyone with just a T suffix is a single axle(also lt). If you want to know how many B67's were built with a concave cab you have to look at every B67 build sheet. Very neat truck. I would love to have it. Value is a.little tough, but I would guess in the 5000-8000 range if it runs well. Maybe a little more.if someone really wanted it. Mike

    Good Dog:

I have no idea what you just said. Rob, I am a member of ATHS. I do realize that the sitting president will be the object of ridicule. I use this site as an excape from the troubles of the world. Macks, really any trucks, make me happy. Politics do not. And I had oatmeal for breakfast. Mike

    Good Dog:

It's crap. Don't download it. The problem with political and questionble material is when it is fresh it ends up at the top of the page. It doens't matter that it is the "odds and ends" section. Often it is easy to tell if it is something that I will not appreciate, but when is says "dog" I think Mack Bulldog. I look at this site because I like trucks not because I want to know what everyones' political views or fetishes. Not everyone on here is a Republican, but maybe that is the way you want it. I made one anti-Bush remark and I got marks against me. This is why ATHS does not allow political posts. Mike
  10. Its in Souderton, Pa off of Rt 309. Im told.it belongs to a storage trailer company. Im going to try to find it.in a few weeks when i get.the time. Mike
  11. I have a Hahn fire truck with a 671 and a 5 speed and a Hamerly fire truck with an 8V71 and an allison automatic. I like the sound of the 671 much better and it is much more fun to drive because of the 5 speed. Mike
  12. Welcome to the forum. Your B60 looks like a great project. I have a parts truck that might work for you. Where are you located? I'm southeastern PA near Reading. Never heard of Delmont. If you are close you could come and look at the truck. I also have some front end parts that could be bought by the piece(radiator shell, fender filler panels...). Mike 610 764 8283
  13. I'm told they are planning on selling the Wellington F model that was donate to ATHS. I had been stored and maintained by a club in New England, but they had no say in the disposition of it. They said if it was going to be sold they atleast wanted the money they put in to maintaining it and they would donate the money to another charity. ATHS said they'd give a certain amount, take it or leave it. They left it and disbanded their chapter. We'll see if the truck gets sold in May. It will be very disappointing if it does. Mike
  14. I like keeping the old stickers. You can cover it with green paper if you like it. Your garage looks really nice. Id fill that up really quick. Mike
  15. I'd sell you one of my parts trucks with a duplex in it. Im near Pottstown Pa. I will need to know soon before they are inaccessible. Mike. 610 764 8283
  16. I called my state farm rep yesterday. He said no antique policies on commercial trucks. I would need a commercial policy. My father had Hagerty for a while and it worked.fine. He has gulfway on his Superliner and can pull a trailer and has not had problems, but we have not submitted any claims either. Your truck looks great. I would cover up that sticker before.you apply for.license. Mike
  17. Look at the Diamond T rescue truck. There is a Mack Jr, a truck with an L model cab and a B model hood all in that first picture.
  18. I'm glad you're keeping it too. Hopefully you can get it inside now. That truck deserves special treatment. Mike
  19. Great looking trailer and truck. I guess you won't tell us the reserve. I can buy 48' storage trailers for $1000, but they are not SS. What is the fire truck in the background? Mike
  20. I was half way up Allan Bond's Pirsche 85' aerial. I would have gone higher, but I got scared. Got a good picture of our trucks though.
  21. That is a neat truck. It would be great to save it. You might even find a collector to buy the drilling rig. You can buy replacement headlights new. The hood would be hard to come buy. Hopefully that could be fixed. As superdog said, the fenders are made real steel and the dents can be knocked out. Good luck.
  22. A year or so ago someone posted on here about wanting parts for this truck. I exchanged a few PM's with him. He sent a link to the Evil and Robbie Kinevel web site which had pictures of the truck in its heyday. Signed his emails RK which I assume is Robbie Kinevel. I could have been fooled. He said he got a cab from Dennis Meehan so didn't need anything of mine. Someone on here suggested he contact American Trucker which he must have done because of the show which aired last year. The show was a farce, how they went looking for it, but I guess that is television. Mike
  23. Leversole- I'd say you got lucky, but I did not see your pictures. It is PennDOT that issues the antique tag and they have been very tough on me. They turned down my A model fire truck because of the scroll work on the front fenders saying it wasn't factory. I sent the pictures back with a copy of a picture from Harvey Eckert's book of trucks being assembled in the Mack factory with the scroll work already on. I got a tag in 3 days. They made me take off extra lights under the bumper on my Transtar because they were not factory. Of coures I put them back on after I took new pictures. Shawn. Your truck looks good enought for antique tags. Wax it or buff it. Clean the windows. Put some tire black on. Take the license plate off the front bumper and cover up the paint loss on the hood and anywhere else and you should be ok. As Doug said, if it is a truck that I am not going to license I change the title into my name without applying for the antique brand/license. Mike
  24. My parents just got home. They had a great time. I have not gone to Harrisburg for a license becauseof the drive. Only an hour but I am lazy. Im not the one who said about misinformation. I was telling how I have done it. This probably does not matter to b67 bulldog because his title is probably in his name. It does save Some money and some time. Mike
  25. I transfer the title and apply for the antique license at the same time. I have my proof of insurance and the four pictures. I give all of that to the notary. The notary takes it all to Harrisburg. They call me to pick up the plate in a few days and the title comes in the mail with the antique title brand a few weeks later. I have done it with many titles from Pa along with one from Mass and one from Ca. I have not have any problems. If I don't have the insurance card and pictures the notary will hold the title until I do. Mike The only trouble I have had is with the pictures; lettering, gold leaf, rust, dents.
