  1. The guy I got my 85LS and 405A from has a semi-open cab from Brockton (PA?). It is red. It supposedly runs well. We got it running to get my trucks out of the building, but that was 6 years ago. It was a pretty nice looking truck. I called the guy who has it and he will send more information. It is located in Cressona, PA. Mike
  2. Local Guy. I sent you a PM. Mike
  3. From the album: Other Makes

Bought new by the fire company and bought by me last year.
  4. I visited Tom Smith a few weeks ago and he had this picture of my LFT on a shelf. Here is what it looks like now.I had it taken to a mechanic who is working on the motor. It has a Lanova in it. I believe it is an END672. It has been at the mechanic's since November of 2010. I had hoped to have it for Macungie in 2011, but he has had a hard time getting parts. I was excited to get the picture of it together. I don't know what year the picture was taken, but I like the license plate set up on the front. I would like to get appropriate 1950 license plates to put on the front of the truck. I have a 1950 PA Y tag. Does anyone know what the plates from different states should be like for a single axle tractor? Do the out of state tags have specific weight ratings? Mike
  5. Holy Smokes. I've spent less on the real thing. They are cool though. I never saw them before.
  6. I'm a veterinarian. Maybe I could fix it. Seriously, if you make it Macungie there are always a bunch in the flea market. Mike
  7. You can email the pictures to me and I will post them for you. I would love to see them. yarnallvmd@hotmail.com Mike
  8. Saturday is definitely the day to be there. Friday and Saturday if you have two days. There isn't anything left by Sunday at noon. We will start taking trucks up Thursday Morning. I'm sure someone can get you at the airport. Would you fly into Lehigh Valley? It is only about 20 minutes from the show. Philly is a little bit of a drive. Newark might be better than philly for distance. Mike
  9. My father and I will be at Springfield. I'll be driving my F model and my Father is driving his Superline with something on the step deck. We only live 18 miles from Macungie. We will take as many trucks as we can get there. I look forward to meeting some of you guys there. Mike
  10. I was.thinking of.putting the pump on the A30. I have to see how it matches up.
  11. No. Noone likes U models. How about a picture of the B85 on the back? Mike
  12. I bought this Ford about 10 years ago. Thought I would do something with it, but I have not. I am not much of a Ford Guy. It is a 1964 F850 with a gas V8 and 5 speed. It has hydaulic brakes. Front mounted Darley pump. Hydraulic bucket lift on the back. I had it running years back, but it never ran really well. I think the tires are 9.00x20. It was originally from Willow Street, PA in Lancaster County. I am told the bought the truck as a cab and chassis and took the tanker body off an older Dodge. I would like it to find a new home. Asking $1200 OBO or full or partial trade. Mike
  13. Good luck Mike. There will be plenty of other shows and trucks. Concentrate on getting better. We'll see you in October. You'll be in my prayers. Mike
  14. Imagine how itchy that crazy guy must be. I wouldn't even take my shirt off when I would help with baling. Mike
  15. I gave an AC fan to Gary Mahan last year. He has had a lot of AC parts reproduced. You could always give him a call. Look him up under the Mahan Collection. He lives in New Jersey. Mike
  16. His happened a few weeks ago outside of Reading, PA. The rig is from Gregor Topsoil, part of Haines and Kibblehouse. John Haines has a nice collection of restored Macks. Apparently the landing gears got caught and 3 minutes later a train came. The driver was not hurt. The walking floor trailer was a total loss. The pictures are from the local TV station. Mike
  17. There's a truck show in Macungie? Is it any good? Will there be any Macks there? Mike

Welcome and thanks for your service. Here is a B61 for your enjoyment. It is not mine. I wish it was. Hope you like it. Mike
  19. Good work. My dad has done a lot of drawings like yours. I should find them and post them. Mike
  20. At the end of my freshman year of college in 1989 a buddy was loading his stuff in the trunk of his father's pristine 1976 monte carlo, white with red leather. He went back in for another arm full and came out to find an old man had run square into the back of his car, pushing the bumper into the road and making grooves in the black top about five feet long. Really shook-up my buddy. They figured the old guy had a heart attack or a stroke. I don't remember what happened to him, but the car was totaled. Mike
  21. Very interesting. I never heard of and RP cab either. Were the the cabs built in Australia? How about some pictures? Mike
  22. Is this how you are going to get yourself home schooled?
  23. Do you mean fiberglass flip hood verses butterfly steel hood?
  24. He got his moneys worth in work. You definitely need to keep it inside. I hope you can find save for it. Mike
