  1. It looks brand new. Great job.
  2. Great story and great pictures. Glad it was a good birthday. I'll be 42 in July. I do like that cat. I've been trying.to buy a D2 for quite a few years now. Mike
  3. Thanks for the compliments. It is a really nice truck. Dean and Earl Feller are really good guys. They let me crawl all over their trucks and take pictures of everything. The nicest truck is that KB6. I'm surprised it fit in the trailer with the rear tires on it. I wasn't planning on putting a pump back on the A model. We are going to take the bumper and brackets of my A20 parts truck and put that on. It will shorten it up a foot. I already have the top of the tank cut out so I can put a hot tub in it and I am getting a keg system ready the for compartments on the tail board. It will make a great party truck. Ok, I'm just kidding about that. If it didn't have the body molded into the cab I would take the body off, shorten the frame and put a little flat bed on it, but I guess it will stay the way it is. Mike
  4. you'd need a mighty long garage for the B30. It says its 160 ft long.
  5. One more. A nice KB6 in a storage trailer.
  6. Thanks,and me too. Here's another one. A rough 4000 or 4070A.
  7. Even more IH's. There are a lot more if you want to see them. Mike
  8. More internationals.
  9. Inernationals.
  10. another shot
  11. Loaded and ready to go.
  12. the interior
  13. My father and I set out in his Superliner at 3:30am on Saturday to pick up the A30 that a few bad eggs on here convinced me to buy. It was about 375 miles from Boyertown, PA to Dover, OH. We arrived just after 11am. The truck was already loaded on a step deck to transfer to my father's step deck. The sellers, Earl and Dean Feller, along with their helper, Chris, had gotten the truck running and ready to load. We looked it over and it looked pretty good. It is built on a commercial chassis, but has very nice body work done by American. The front mounted pump and much of the equipment was removed by the fire company when the Feller's bought it in 1996. The odometer reads 13035 miles. I don't know if the odometer works. There are a few spots of rust, but nothing severe. After the truck was loaded and chained down we got a tour of the International collection. I had be told they had a field full of trucks. None of the others were Macks, but I like other brands, too. More pictures to follow, Mike
  14. Welcome to the forum. My father bought a '75 RL712LST out of California a couple of years ago. He loves the thing. There are quite a few of the long nose lovers on the forum. It would be great to see some pictures. To post a picture go down to "more reply optionns" in the right lower corner. Then "choose files" in the left lower corner. Pick your picture from your files. Then "add reply" in the center on the bottom. The yellow and black truck is my father's RL. Mike
  15. I guess I should get my extinguishers tested. I sold a 707 out of a B85 to someone on this forum. He has a B70 that he wants to put it in. Maybe he will see this and change his mind. I have another complete 707, but I think I will keep it as a back-up. Mike
  16. Great truck. That is definitely too far away. Just brought that a model.home yesterday though. 700 miles round trip. I wouldn't have bought it if i knew it was that far. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Mike
  17. I have bought several B model manuals at the truck show in Macungie. They are big, thick books with green covers. You should make the pilgramage. Mike
  18. I told myself that I was not buying any more firetrucks unless they had some local connection. No chance I am driving that home. It is 500 miles and the brakes don't work.
  19. You made a lot of progress. Everything always takes longer than expected. You'll have a really nice truck when you are done. Keep at it. Mike
  20. You guys are bad influences. My dad and I are going for it on Saturday. Please send me that picture if you find it. Mike
  21. B422's are not that rare. Someone can tell you how many were built. The red one is not mine. It belongs to a friend named Phil Mack, no joke. I bought the orange and blue B42 from him and most of our parts and the grey McCormick Deering 15-30 from his father. I took leversole to see them. The blue B model in the pole barn with the hood up is also a B422.
  22. Thanks for coming. It was great to meet you. We thought the building was full a long time ago, but we keep stuffing more trucks in. It takes two people to park them. Mike
  23. Underdog's V8 Superliner.
  24. This is Underdog's with a 400 V8. It is pretty nice.
