  1. if the truck is original in the back is should have 3 5/8s spacers on it. you might have to go to a 4'' wide spacer and get shorter wedges. I have 12 r 22/5's on the back of a single axle B model dump and they are close but don't touch. guess youll have to try with it loaded and see how much they squeeze together with some weight on it
  2. be a lot easier to put on a newer chassis. the front springs wont hold a diesel conversion unless its a small B cummins and the juice brakes are a nightmare
  3. someones not payin attention to their pencil if they think 24.5 will fit a 24 inch wheel and someones an idiot if they are willing to get rid of a truck because they bought the wrong size tires and rims and they are split safety ringa, not SPLIT RIMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! split rims are on Dodges, Fords and Studebakers up unil the mid to late 50's
  4. driver... all B61's had inlet and outlet on driver side and rad cap and poi dipstick always on pass side
  5. I dunno, i said that to the wife tonite where we should be tonite getting some new age bugs on the B model...……. thinkin about doin a virtual tur of my yard and B models, anyone in? was gonna put on facebook
  6. same set we have at work. biggest thing is keep them clean and lubed and only use wd40 to lube them and its always a good idea to release or cage the brakes on a big truck when you lift it so it finds ''home'' as it goes up and down. otherwise the lifts tend to jam
  7. most 711's had the bigger 720 radiator like the 673 turbos had, they barely fit in the horse collar and around notched around the two 5/8 bolts in the bottom. most natural 673's had the smaller I wanna say 500 radiator with the bottom neck that came out of the bottom of the tank underneath with a 90 degree
  8. jesus gotta be careful posting nice vintage dump trucks on here. some shitbag exporter is bound to pop up
  9. agree with B model stuff being poor quality. and if it is good quality its priced right out of the weekend restorers price range. same with seats. id buy about 4-6 beige Bulldog embossed 905 seats right now and about 4 B model headliners
  10. looks like 315 22.5 s on the front. they don't make any floaters in 24.5's
  11. there was a Brown tandem tractor at York.... it was sweet. almost think it was 80's GM Rootbeer brown metallic
  12. there was never a B62T far as I know. the single axle version was a B60 and tandem was a B62. both replaced with a B68 that covered both variables
  13. you sure that's Australia?? looks a lot like the back lot of the test center in Allentown?? and the steering wheel is def on the left
  14. that B81 is sexy...…. she has the look with that big radiator
  15. pretty sure the Valueliner went into the early 90's?? remember being at Macungie around 9192 and almost remember seein cement mixer Valueliner chassis in silver in the back lot? I might be mistaken?
  16. steelman I looked at your truck on a flatbed this year at Macktrucktoberfest last year. again wish I had the dimensions to cut down the fenders proper
  17. our 82 R600 had the one like the pic i was referring to attached to the air the air. just a stainless thin look a like grille
  18. Superdog Mike had a gold base for sale a while back I believe.
  19. I got an even weirder one in my 66 R600.... timing cover is stamped endtb675 but the rivetted tag on the block says ETAZ673T. engine came out a 1980 R612LST originally...
  20. use to be my ex boss's truck before we got an 82 with a 300 and 9 speed roadranger. that truck has a 237 and 5 speed and hauled a lowboy most of its life..... and a dump trailer. trust me be glad it looks as good as it did. it use to have weigh receipts from the put in the glovebox for 100.000 gross in a Fruehauf bathtub on a tandem trailer..
  21. that white trans provincial truck is not the fake lookin put in grille were talkin about. the white truck has an early 80's stainless grille that was attached to the air to air condenser. the red truck has the grllle that goes on the outside
  22. god I hate that grille almost as much as I hate someone putting Alcoa wheels on the front of a nice lookin R model that has nice Daytons. that grille just reminds me of someone trying to put a ''little extra' bling on a perfectly good R model kinda like putting a drop visor on it
