  1. Looks great! I'm thinking about a green color scheme for my R just at the moment. One of ideas was too close to. So very interesting to see this one. Sorry, I suppose there are low chances for a day light shot. Vlad
  2. Good income of pictures, guys. Thanks!
  3. There is a turn light relay (on my R688 of 1988). It locates behind "glove" compartment door, right side. My one is red.Relay has 2 pins only, of a flat kind. It interrupts the current making intervals. The one in my truck conteins real ingeneer genius, it provides pauses by mechanical system with a little flywheel. If you change the relay by a piece of wire it works as constant turn light. Previous owner of my truck drived her for some monthes (or maybe years) making pulsations by hand Vlad
  4. Don't want to argue with a rest of you guys, but I like R with stock single round headlights. Though my both R's have - one double round's and the second - rectangular's - holy shit! Vlad
  5. Yea Vinny, I also remember this picture. With fat front fenders. To me this one really looks ugly. Taking to account that I like off-set cab. I was always shure it's good idea to improve visibility. Although I haven't ever drive them. Vlad
  6. They are the blood cousins because they both have Mack blood, aren't you? What means "Ineke" - that's a question I heared many times from my friends who saw pictures from Utrecht. See you on Sunday Leon. Vlad.
  7. Revell toy is good-looking but not running and not Mack! Vlad
  8. If you mean me I'm glad sometimes do not to see many beautiful things. To protect myself go crazy! Vlad.
  9. I'm not on the U.S. market but I'm looking around L's. Shure that $3,500 is well reasonable. At least it's not expensive selling the truck. What the Lanova ? (Who the hell is Lanova? ) END-672 or ED ? Vlad.
  10. Goedenmiddag Leon, Thank you for the invitation. I'm not ready to keep the company with my truck though will be personally with a friend of mine. We'll start on Sunday morning from Germany, Dusseldorf. I saw your truck well last Oktober. It's very nice, I like colors too much. And I would probably ask some questions because I also have the R. Vlad.
  11. Good looking and very clean truck. Although I'd be too glad to see a Superliner of the same condition and for the same price Vlad
  12. Try to google it for first. Vlad.
  13. Too strange and interesting. Haven't you seen valves moving during 1/4 cranking? The only idea is a problem of timing. It looks like piston moves until meets a valve. That could be result of a gear key break. Definetly it's not a piston-cylinder stuck. Or, maybe - haven't you provide any repairs of screwing in any new bolts? In the timing cover area. I had a chance to lock the engine during assembling by the bolt of unnormal length. Vlad.
  14. I'll try also. Because I enjoed last "Mack Day" too much. Holland is pretty country and Holland Macks are out of comments! Leon, on September 30, Sunday. Vlad
  15. Really nice! The only problem is just a lust to bring every nice truck home Vlad
  16. 7 years ago I have been learned to ride a bike. It was Honda of 400 cm3. Guys who gave it me to practice said that a formal owner had a moment falling asleep during a long way, nearly 700km. The engine was too small to drive fast, it had high revs and made constant bzzzz. That guy woked up because his wife bited him to the shoulder when he began to come out the road. Vlad
  17. Hahaha! A dinomite is not for a free sell owerhere Vlad.
  18. lot of people in Russia set dash cameras up. Not for the reason to make movies but to fix an arrangement of an excident in a case it happens. As for my parents so they like to make movies from the road on holidays. I presented a set to my father on his birthday last year. There is a lot of scooter drivers owerehere, they don't need any licence up to 50 cm3 although must drive 1m aside the road. In real they drive anywhere, many children of age 10- , without helms. Drunk are also. That one is too happy hasn't met the truck in front. Vlad
  19. Hi Pavel! I'm driving Poland each time when I go to Germany and Holland. At least two times a year for 3 last. But with a car or motorbike. Just traveling. I want too much to make the same way with Mack but I'm not shure of what will happens faster - my Mack trip or your model ready Last time I visited Salt mine in Welicka and went down to Slowakia. I was with my son of 12 years. I'm thinking to not moving a trailer. That's why I can make fifth wheel clean. To determine it's off-trailer all the time. Have a good time, vlad.
  20. Tom, It's very nice from you to note me apsent. Look here for the first fish, and I'll continue http://www.bigmacktr...og-in-danemark/
  21. Buzzybee is too interesting if you can read Dutch. Or German at least. With German you can understand in general. That's what I'm doing there from time to time. That F is from Dutch transportation company, they used them in 70's. Interesting that colours follow original scheme - it was blue with black fenders. There is another one from the same service. And I also have never seen U models in Holland. But DM's. Vlad
  22. Not shure they need more. One of the three sheds is full of unrestored cars. AC is probably WW1. Don't really know, had no chance to discuss the owner. Looking the net I've found not many AC's in Europe. That's why I visited the museum. And don't forget - I have never seen AC's in real before. Vlad.
  23. My God !! I've never seen a steam-powered camper! Although I saw a camper made of locomotive Awesome Heavy Metal collection. Welcome to the jungle! Vlad.
  24. Looks impressive! Especially the naked frame. I'm for NAVY blue. Black is usual and usually unrestored. Red is nice and bright but too common. I have the same matter of question for an engine. My truck is in khaki, original engine color is black. I'm thinking now about as your one. Vlad
  25. Well Pavel, I'm usually critical to models but starting to enjoy your work. Too much grease of course although I like this fifth wheel. The springs are a bit bigger than they must be but it looks good at all. To grease or not to grease ??? I'm thinking to make absolutely clean fifth wheel on my real truck. As for a model, I prefer little dirty. I thought to use epoxy with a black paint but haven't realized. Here is a couple of images. I was in Poland 2 weeks ago but went to the south. Vlad
