  1. This weekend I had a trip with Mack, near 100 km and the same distance back next day. For a BBQ party to my sister. Must to add this was my first truck drive longer than around the haus area Some pictures. Big highway of direction West - main road to Europe. And a little local road.
  2. Not shure about Fracmaster but they're definitely of St.Germain. What did you miss in Russia? Vlad
  3. Paul, thank you very much
  4. Joe, Here are no Mack dealers. The nearest two are in Holland and Azerbaijan (not far from Iran??). Some American truck parts suppliers exists, they ready to import but hasn't Mack part lists. I bought two mirrors having numbers from Mack online accessoru catalog. These two trucks lived so long due to another two "brothers" that were taken apart. The last one I bought has very good die-hard owner. He rebuit the engine at least twice and did many others on it. He really loved it. He drove all the four during the years. I heared so many stories about so it looked to me like whole a life. As I wrote I discussed with him during a year. So finding parts and other works on Macks is a serious adventure. I like it !
  5. Great collection! I'm not a big tractor fan but Macks are fantastic! And the other trucks... And tractors. All vehicles are so clean made, they are really superb! Thank you for the report Vlad
  6. Nice B! I suppose the nature owerthere is still virgin and wild.
  7. I need some special optic to see Alaska. It's in 8000 km away My Dutch friends invites me to keep his company next summer to follow Alaska Highway. Not shure though it will real for me.
  8. This country side is typical for some thouthands km in the Eastern part of Russia and the same area from the Noth to the South. There is a tundra in 1500 km Noth from my habitation and rocks of Kaukas on the South in nearly the same 1500. I have never been in the eastern part, there is probably more forests and less roads. Anyway the country is great in the size. I'm traveling mostly in West Europe last years. Good roads, nice view sides, friendly people and less expensive life! I'm thinking about big trip in the direction East, at least upto the lake of Baikal, the biggest one on the planet, nearly 1000 km in length. And maybe will do it with Mack. Why do I have the truck with a sleeper?
  9. I was enjoed guys to see so many classic American cars, I like them most. Although I prefer to spend a time to American Mack trucks, they are out of concurence to me. On the other hand I like Mercedes cars and have some of.
  10. I hope Rob, you'll need to visit this company from time to time because you couldn't be uninteresting of what's going on with the project you spent so much time and power. As I noted before, your activity was great enough to be just a hobby so it was the work. Sorry we can't do everyting we like during the life. Especially everything in one moment. Lots of success to your projects !
  11. Yes, I have newer seen Australian DM's owerhere with a right side off-set.
  12. Looks very nice from a distance. Interesting to see it better. Vlad
  13. You need to do a lot of work, I must to go asleep - 1.55 AM at me. I'm shure there are good chances to enjoy your literature creations in the future
  14. Sometimes we must to forse ourselves. To stop working and look around ! A person here in Moscow said me once (he lived in the US a while) something like "we spend so much time making money so haven't a time to think about how to make money". Finland is very nice. The home of mosquitos! Vlad
  15. Didn't read "Sex on the beach". Please give me the link, I'm afraid I'll miss all the night digging cultural layers owerhere.
  16. This one I saw on the show in Holland on last Oktober. Plates are Holland also. Vlad
  17. Good income. I haven't see Super's with a sleeper and V8 on truckpapers. Although I looked not hard. Vlad
  18. I'm hoping now you know my country better than me. As we take to account top-secret objects we have a chance to find anything in both countries.
  19. Very nice pictures ! (Scrappers are awesome) I like rocky background probably because I'm living in the flat not interesting area. On my mind it's good both to travel to my own or the other country. As for me I'm enjoing to drive over France and Germany. That's a way to research and proub other's people reality, a chance to understand my own life better. More, I'm shure this is not a main reason of I'm traveling or doing my job. The reason is to like the things I'm doing, just to do what you like to or what you want to ! Vlad
  20. I made many of because I thought If should be interesting to you guys. I know now I have done the job that wasn't missed and it's good. So will go on as far as I meet anything fresh. Thanks for the comments to everybody who was enjoed
  21. Dave, You told much about Ozark and just nothing about landing zones for incubating Vlad
  22. That's quite a story ! I laughed longer than I laughed seeing pictures. The main pride of the vehicle is that it runs (by the word - is it runs??)
  23. Joe, thank you. It's just a specific of terminology. Here we used to say "two-axler" or "three-axler" counting fronts and rears together. Or "full wheel drive" in a chance of. We also calling non-driven axle as "lazy axle" or just "lift axle".
  24. Just no comments ! Olive, thanks alot for sharing them all ! I saw some of the trucks Mike posted in the gallery although whole the collection ... Vlad
  25. Little addition to the story. On my back ride I met two Macks. There were blue MH and brown Vision. Too sorry can't shoot them riding in a helmet with both hands steering. It was a very good statistic seeing two Macks by the distance of 1200 km. Vlad
