  2. Thank you, Paul. Wheels and Tracks are out of my attention due to the shortage of time for looking for.. Do you mean some Bart's publication in Wheels&Tracks? Vlad
  3. Nice looking machine ! I'm praying the Lord for she has no sleeper. Because if she has it I must go crazy trying to have the truck immediately. Vlad
  4. Thank you for posting. Bright pictures that made with a good weather are nice looking. Vlad
  5. I suppose I need the same kind as for your truck. Have you got the correct ones? If so please post their look. Vlad
  6. The WW2 military E models were EH and EHU of 1942. Had EN310 and EN354 gassers. They were built basically as commercials but with a lustreless trim - front grill, bumper, headlights and so on. Starting 1943 the militarized version of EH came into production with an oped cab and a flat kind front fenders. Were were lots of other E-series Macks in the military service though they were commercial trucks. Vlad.
  7. Hi Pawel, I noted, yes, and I was surprized to see that special bogie carriers on the Superliner chassis. So if anybody has a mind of their use after the 60's I'm in the interest to learn about. One more over-roof wiev I made on days. You can also see the bullet-type top lights on Watt's truck sales online shop, just look the forum list. I'm going to get a set of although the price is a bit off a model-building range Vlad
  8. Congrats Vinny! Glad to see you're moving. And do as Pawel ask for. It would be pleasurant to him and maybe usefull for you one day. I'm always fixing my work nowadays. It's easy with a digital camera and helps to clear some questions in the future. Vlad.
  9. I want them hard though suppose they don't fit my 1988 R series. Vlad.
  10. By the way of contacting BMT members I also contacting the CROSS MEMBERS of the frame, and usualy do it with a hammer instead a keyboard. Vinny, just try to scratch a piece of paint from a good protected area - somewhere under the lay of greese and where was not extremely hot. I suppose a common acrilic body paint is workable on an engine excepting exhaust. So you can order a clousest color mix. If you want to use anything cheaper just try a paint shop though with a piece of the color. Vlad
  11. I can only say, I didn't see Rob here in Russia and didn't invite him to me, so I can't keep the search company. As for a serious, I haven't recieve any mail from him last weeks. This way I also think "a call or visit is in order". And hope he's Ok.
  12. Vinny, When I asked you the same question you also didn't say me about the light ETC and the heavy ETC
  13. Looking Olive's art, I have remembered that Rob also provided some welding around his trailer pair weeks ago....

  15. Barry, thank you. It should be usefull at least for me. Vlad.
  16. Maybe they used Detroit sound record and KW in that scene although "Conwoy" is a real legend indeed
  17. I think you like your g/f so much to rebuilt the truck for her comfort. Or maybe you wanted to reconstruct the truck and just kept her wellth in an account?
  18. Ben, Thanks for pictures. I don't want to come in discussion of Detroit and Mack relations, it's a question of a taste. Is that off-set cab truck IH ? Vlad
  19. When we meet some stupidity we have to remember ourselves to be carefull not to coming in so conclusions. Just a good practic. Though I also got mind about relation of the long yellow things and the yellow smile Vlad
  20. Larry, thank you for posting. Too interesting and a lot of nice looking stuff. I'm a bit late though glad to see it all. Vlad.
  21. Old fashion ajusters look so. The only fixing nut is at the end of the shaft. But this one is of 1945. Vlad

  24. Does she have a sleeper of a kind as American Kenworth's use? Vlad
  25. Welcome to the jungle! You have to start an engine of your bike and look for. Try to find a truck in the best condition you can. Depending of your pocket of course. You'll have a lot of to do around a project anyway and it's nice when you get some quick results. And constantly move a project, slowly moving but never stop!! Vlad
