We saved another RVladislav replied to 85snowdog's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion Glad to see your purchase. Please keep posted when you find correct full fenders for 60" Canadian spread. I had some luck googling it put had doubts on the matter.

Good luck on the project. Sorry I can't help about parts sources, almost the same as you. Hope the summer will be long in Canada this year. And yes, a rust free cab is a good option for a restorer.

I don't know why but I can't post pics with descriptions under each of them. So I have to make a multi post. Some more pics I have. The environment, churches, McDonald's as you can see it here in Russia and old and upset IH cabower down the road.

On my back way I cruised local roads having no want to jam up with many others who vent back home into the city after the long Victory day weekend. Saw unfinished project of some one in the little village who put the car's body onto 4x4 truck chassis. Saw fresh painted old ZIL dump truck. Saw many old churches in the woods. Saw many tanks. Yes, there were many of them. I fixed the ones I could stop and make a shoot. There was an area of strong battles with Germans during WW2, that's why those tanks were there.

After that I vent around the city ring and followed direction North, to Saint-Petersburg. Made couple of sunset pics along the good part of the road than came into constraction area. That construction was a good thing because the part of the highway they worked over was really terrible.

Recently I made a trip along the central part of my country. It wasn't really long, about 500km and than back. Sorry I didn't drive a truck but my small Mercedes "truck". It was a kind of holiday with some business and I had my camera with me. Nice weather and spring growing woods made the environment too attractive to use it. Nothing extraordinary although you maybe enjoy the shots from the other side. The first adventure I was invovlved in happened in right 10 minutes after the start. There was a big jam and the policeman said the road was closed becase of the vehicles going back from the city after the military parade. It was 9th of May, the day when Germans capitulated in 1945. The victory day. I vent out and saw most the vehicles having not been at the parade.

Some new random Macks!Vladislav replied to vision386's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion Reading the comments above I read the main thought in my head - we like them all! Thank you for posting.

I wish it would be closer. I'd be at Macungie though

Good bunch of pictures this time. I always wonder why I don't see old Macks and Superliners along my ways. Only poor drunk wild creatures and other Tadzikian folks with wheel barrows. Hope you Tom didn't forget to offer some beer bread with milk to that nice little pussie?

That's cool news. Shure Australian Macks is the most attractive thing in the world after American Macks. Or maybe... No, nothing to argue about!

Looks like Tom on the bag and like the Other dog on the grass Today I digged out 3 small trees in the forest aside the road and than hauled them in the car about 200km to my house. Planted in my land. Don't know how to call them in English and too upset now to google. They smell nice when have floures.

Awesome present on my mind For shure for those who like it. L-models are my favorites. And that's cool you have the seat springs. Because I have them not. Have got the linings though but sorry no extra set of.

Nice looking truck on the picture. Good luck on the project. And... the most important moment in any resto deal is to plan and provide a work to have it done one day. Vlad

Work begins on the B-815SXVladislav replied to Gmerrill0516's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion Greg, Let me put a little bit more to have you scratching your head. Currently I restore WW2 army Mack. It all painted olive drab. Including chassis, gearbox and engines on the some series. I kept that line generally but wanted to play with colors on the engine. Thought about green/gray and so on but resolved to stay with khaki but combined with black parts. Recently I have done the portion of the black stuff. Sand blasted, got to the paint shop, applied acrilik paint with matt additive like I did with khaki and after I saw the parts painted... They looked like I put some poor fence coat with a brush in my hand. So no black chassis components and especially hubs for a show truck on my mind. You also may combine different tones of orange for the cab and the chassis. Again, that's all my thoughts only.

Interesting stuff on my mind. There were different, 20's and 22's.

Work begins on the B-815SXVladislav replied to Gmerrill0516's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion Looks like a work is going. Have missed this thread before, read with interest now. Good luck on the project, don't forget to keep us posted. P.S. Black&orange combo would look nice on my mind although I'd make the frame orange. A black one doesn't catch attention and usually doesn't seem as had much labour on it. Just my opinion, no more.

Beautiful trucks and the nice picture Maybe it's time for me to swap my desktop from the white R into that black pair. Thank you for sharing.

Looks attractive Paul, Don't put any stains on all that fresh polished aluminium when test on a quater mile. Hope you'll have a lot of fun with it.

I'd like to have a couple of scripts from the hood Vlad
