  1. Doug M / Randy FWD, Are either of you planning a tutoring session at the Nunnery (alias Tilted Kilt) on Friday September 9th?

  5. Powertrain is EM6-300 with TRDL1070 (with 1, 2, 3, and 4 OD gears blocked out). Transfer case is Mack TCS-15 (modified TC-15). Front axle FABCO SDA-16 4.61. I posted the article in WiKi that was published in December 1986 issue of Fleet Owner.
  6. Mike, You need to snag this one. Not sure if it was originally a UPS truck (no roof faring and MACK on the grille). I read in an article about the 4WD MH, the configuration was available for production. Do you have a VIN? The museum would be able to identify the original purchaser. Would be interesting to know how many were built.
  7. Goofy old fatman....I am sure that description fits several of us. Barry will likely announce a BMT noon photo.
  8. Yes. Notice the extra steps under the bumper and the battery box/air tank.
  9. Barry, I plan to attend with the spudmobile (MH) and trailer. Extended forecast is for chance of rain. Hope it will be a nice day.
  10. Denny, Any contact info? Never mind...I located their website. I will give them a call and find out if and where the Mack can be inspected.
  11. Bob, I plan to be at Watt's with the Spudmobile and trailer. Watt's show is a great show third or fourth to Mudcungie, Trucktoberfest, and Gerhart's. Larry, Congrats. I may make Ashland next year.
  12. How far is Halifax from you? If you get bored, go for a drive, and check it out. Dutch Valley has a big parking lot. I see RVs there and I am sure there have been semis too. DV has a "stuff it buffit" so you better just drive on by. As you are driving east from Sugar Creek, go down the hill, at the traffic light look to the southeast and you will see a big restaurant. That is DV.
  13. Nice pics as usual. Did you get a good look at the R in Halifax? Phone number? Watched many a tug/barge on the Illinois River when I lived near Peoria. Impressive! BTW, was on Route 39 last Saturday, drove by Belden Brick on the way to Walnut Creek/Berlin. Did you eat at Dutch Valley Restaurant or didn't you have time?
  14. Mike, I was not there and I have witnesses to my whereabouts. And I know nothing. "Never did know anything." - Scrooge
  15. nice looking G and Cruiseliner
  16. Are you thinking of Peggy's Diner on 220 between Claysburg and East Freedom?
  17. Doug mentioned the Museum hired a new assistant...are you him?
  18. Al, Here is an older video of the cabover and conventional. I do not remember seeing the conventional recently but it may still be around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAN61N4_hms A video of the conventional https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxfBVWPnlww
  19. Billy T - Farmer 52, yeah that might be a stretch, It got a lot of media attention when it was built! I've never driven past it, Used to stop at the little truck stop near there. Thanks for the reply. Truck stop near there? Nothing close to their headquarters which is about two (2) miles south of RS on Route 36. Where was the truck stop and do you remember the name? BackinBlack - Farmer do theystill own the Drag Racing v12 Kenworth COE? I think so. I have not seen it this year but saw it last summer.

  21. If the boost is "jacked", lower compression would make sense. But sounds like a misfit engine.
  22. I am staying away for this one and still trying to forget the last one. Likely any flying machines will be shot down by the PaSP.
  23. The Keystone show is history. There were over 80 vehicles on the grounds by Saturday afternoon. Sadly no additional vehicles showed on Sunday. The weather was sunny but HOT. We are thinking the hot temperatures kept people away. Here are a few pics from the show. I was busy parking vehicles on Saturday so only was able to get a few.
  24. Is the "shoe" tree on route 50?
  25. This is a show in Hagerstown on September 17th.
