  1. After looking at that code, it CAN cause a derate. Look for a broken wire/short to ground on the sensor circuit.
  2. Codes telling the start of the issues, first thing that comes to my mind when I was reading was turbo actuator.

  7. Need more info…will it start and shut off? Will it start and run like shit for a little and quit? Or does it just crank? Make sure there is nothing in the tank since you had work done to it and recheck all the work you did when reinstalling the tank. Could be pulling air at a connection.

  9. This may be a stretch, but did you ever take notice to egr diff pressure during regen?
  10. Is this a NOx issue and not a regen issue? V had a good observation of NOx output being higher.

  12. I think mechohaulic thought you meant the the fan was staying on when the truck was off when you said air was coming out of the ac vent.
  13. Take the cover off the box and look for something that looks like this…it also may be metal.

  18. Yea they could be breaking during install, doesn’t take much to break one.
  19. Sounds like engine was done and 24k miles on it they broke. Fixed then 3k miles later they broke again.
  20. I don’t see why not, however I have seen plenty of midliner air tanks for sale for about $200. What is he looking at air tanks for?
  21. Wrong size rings, manufacturing defect, heat fatigue, and detonation. How do the pistons, cylinder walls, and ring lands look after they break?
  22. Does that core sand happen to be like very fine and black/dark grey? Had some coolant drained out in a 5 gallon bucket on one of these and saw a lot of that. I figured it was casting sand. Never knew that was a legit issue with them.
