  1. Does anyone happen to know the minimum flywheel thickness for a 2002 RD688s with a Eaton Fuller 8LL/15inch clutch?
  2. All great ideas from joey, if you wanted to go a step further if you don’t have any shaft play you could remove the charger and see if you have oil before the turbo. Like in the exhaust manifold throat. Let us know what you find.
  3. Seal/bearing most likely. Take the down pipe off and inspect the inside for oil. If so replace the turbo before you have a bigger/more expensive mess.
  4. Yup the Vocom 2 is the driver and tech tool is the software that is used with it. Highly recommend it. Plus you will have access to customer truck portal. Which gives you all the service information for your trucks and also a ton of online classes and also soo much more.

  6. Let us know what you find out, it’s always nice to know. @Joey Mack yea the MPs and newer style are a full time job it seems like. You either know them or you don’t. It seems like every year they add more shit to them for the hell of it. Enough is enough, i think I was saying that back in 07-08 haha.
  7. That’s a good way to test for a cup issue. Have him check for air before the head and after the head. Maybe check cooling system as well. Joey Mack is a good one for help on most issues.
  8. Yea the metal “cup” that goes down into the head and then the injector sits in it. Very well could be those.
  9. I don’t think their is such a conversion and I think you would still have the same issue anyway. Being the ECM would pry still command some type of air solenoid to activate the fan. Best bet would to figure out why the fan is always on.
  10. Does it only do it until the engine is up to operating temp?
  11. Have the cups been replaced before? Also who told you that “two injectors” need to be replaced and why? Does sound like a fuel issue so far.
  12. Would you happen to be able to provide anymore information? Does it have hard starts, making oil, or want to regen more often? Also does it do it loaded or unloaded? Is the vibration from misfire or driveline/suspension related? I by no means know anything close to a lot of guys on here but I’m glad to maybe try and help you out until someone that really knows can. Hey we all been somewhere and done something someone hasn’t...😎
