  1. Wonder if your clutch is engaging and disengaging quickly when in park.
  2. That’s what I figured would happen….
  3. Glad to hear it’s running good for you, yea that makes sense on trying to get it figured out during slow times. Mack dealer near you? Maybe see about software updates for the tcm? It’s a start. tech tool could tell a lot too. Also see if you can get a smaller video to upload. I’d like to see this
  4. Ok, so we can eliminate that it’s not something new and that it didn’t have anything to do with the delete….Do you know the person that you bought it from? If not maybe someone sold it for this reason?
  5. I always thought it was “crunch” like others said. I just thought he destroyed a lot of shit.
  6. Ac high pressure/coolant temp control fan operation. Ground by ecm.
  7. I feel like the deleted automatic trucks especially with the already problematic mdrive have a lot more room for error without spot on delete software. There is alot of talking between the ecm, acm, and tcm.
  8. These typically don’t work out well. However tcm software like Joey said is a good place to start. How long have you had the truck and did this problem just start?
  9. Here’s another option.
  10. I have never had any issue with putting on a dry filter. This is all preference. Especially with oil, for the few seconds you will have “low oil pressure” isn’t an issue at idle and the pump really moves some oil quick. Also there is always oil left in the oil gallies and bearings after draining. The issue you could have is dirt/dirty oil that could go straight to mains, rods, cam bearings, and piston cooling jets. The only time I would prefill is if the engine sat a very long time or was a rebuild. Even with assembly lube.
  11. Or just get fleetguard test strips
  12. Plus they have an electric fuel pump that fills them anyway with a few cycles of the key
  13. If you prefill do it through the little holes not the big one in the center.
  14. Wow that sounds familiar! I used to love seeing trucks take off from traffic lights in the early 90s. My neck still hurts.
  15. Don’t add anything. I don’t prefill but some people do.
  16. Those pliers arnt easy on filters but they get them off!
  17. All of the ones I deal with now have a bolt through them, for filters i use OFW4KT and then something like this when the others don’t cut it. https://www.truckid.com/k-tool-international/4-to-7-adjustable-spring-loaded-oil-filter-pliers-mpn-73621.html?view=677347&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgff6m_239gIV1f6zCh0R-wCXEAQYESABEgJNp_D_BwE
  18. You need to make a YouTube channel and make videos of the progress
  19. I’m gonna go with this
  20. No crush washer and I only use Mack filters. I never put a filter back on with a filter wrench.
