  1. So that truck is worth every bit of 15 just for the trans and engine
  2. What does one of those 500hp E9’s cost on average?
  3. Also when replacing a compressor it is good practice to replace the steel braided discharge line, air dryer cartridge, and governor.
  4. It’s in the head of the compressor. What kind of compressor do you have? What do you mean it’s pushing air hard? When’s the last time you changed the air dryer?
  5. Well he wasn’t so clueless that he decided to come here and ask for help…I’m sure he knows quite a bit of things that would make alot of us look clueless.

  8. This should be good, I’ve never done this/needed too yet. I look forward to the information provided.
  9. Go to 10:00
  10. Check fuel pressure and fuel system for obstructions/sucking air.

    This is an amazing pic
  12. Also your one time code of MID144/PSID230/FMI 5 is something to also look into. It’s for “software failure.” Which is “Incorrect/interruption of the program due to a power failure. There was no power for at least 10 seconds when the ignition is on. Breakage or partial damage to the power cord or ground of the vehicle control unit.”
  13. So the MID 144/PSID 40/FMI 4 is for “daytime running light relay short circuit to ground or open ground” not your issue…Now the MID 140/PPID 278/FMI 9 looks like it very well could be. It’s for “Missing Diesel Exhaust Fluid” 🤔
  14. Something is out of balance. I know most engines have an out of balance point where they transmit vibration at a specific rpm. Most really good engine builders will actually put pistons and rods on a scale and place them together to get the closest weight for each. Clearly Mack doesn’t do this in the factory haha. It could be very well be possible that this vibration is transmitting into the transmission. Since he says it has to be in gear for this to happen. I’d like for him to post a video of this issue to really help pin point the issue.
  15. No, lukasswaziek. Sorry about that haha.
  16. Can you post a video of this?
  17. Light load and certain rpm range. Heavy load not there…also has to be in gear.
  18. Any possibility a worn out vibration dampener could be transmitting vibrations/noise through the crank to the rear of the engine?
  19. I guess you weren’t one of the lucky ones…eventually something goes very wrong with them.
  20. Remove the diesel exhaust dosing valve/injector and make sure it’s clean like FJH said. If all is good there I would suggest a DEF Quality Sensor. We will gladly try and help you out the best we can, here’s another website that might have some knowledgeable people on this. https://www.heavyequipmentforums.com
  21. As for the manual regen, some manufactures won’t let a manual regen happen until it’s at a specific percentage. Like 80%, 90%, 100%
  22. Def an injector knock there so your not crazy…
  23. Yea when you need a shaft that’s when it becomes a big job….Mack usually sends it out too
  24. Out of curiosity what kind of Diesel Exhaust Fluid are you using?
  25. Try what I said about the DEF and making sure it’s good quality. I’d just drain the tank and put good stuff in. Let us know what happens, it could be a bad sensor….All these codes are tied together.
