as I read this thread, the more I really like internationals.. Me and my best friend had scouts back in the mid 80's, and I currently own a 48 KB-7, as you may know.. I am really leaning towards wanting more IH's of any kind.. Thanks for the inspiration.. Jojo -
I always stand on the side of farmers. They are the life blood of our survival. Its hard work, but the idea is simple, till, sow, reap. propagate... then do it again.. with respect to you Bob. I by know means say that farming is just plain simple, it take a special person to raise our food and lumber and cloth, and so on. Jojo

I have heard that Canada owns a lot of our farms.. the 30% I heard mentioned China.. I guess its best tonhere itbfrom a true farmer.. i still dont like it, we need to own our land. Thank you Bob...

E-7's ? short blocks from Mack??? Hell, I tried to get an E-Tech re-man and was told to send my engine to the re-man center and IF they can rebuild it it would be 6-9 months... because they didnt have that engine in stock... Its no mystery why I use PAI parts,,

I say it because they always ran good and I don recall the amount of issues compared to an MP.. I am not a wizard on these, just tossing out another Engine model.. I will always be a Mack Guy.. Wonder why no one wants to use a 12.7 Series 60 Detroit.?? I think they are great engines.. jojo

yes sir, it is.. and those are full re-builds, not including other engine repairs ive done like oil pumps, water pumps, heads, gasket kits, etc.

I also use PAI for transmission repairs as well, Rear ends got rebuilt at another shop, also with PAI parts.

well i have 10+ engines out there with PAI kits. All doing good. do you have Macks part numbers for what you want? what engine series are you specifically looing for?

E-7 427 oil line question

Hey Buddy,, I'm glad you asked.. So oil ''volume'' is taken from the filter pad. It goes through those small bulk head connectors in the jake spacers. Then, under the covers is more of that line going to a 90 degree fitting that is drilled and tapped into the jake head right above the oil gallery in the jake head. the extra volume of oil along with some updates to the jake heads and replacing the oil pump with the 'new then' high pressure oil pump was meant to improve jake response and power. a new lash setting was part of the update, (.021'') from .015 -or- .017''.. Theres a bit more but I will stop here for now.. Good to see you Mech... Jojo -

That line is part of the top oil feed update to the Jake heads.. it is supposed to improve Jake brake performance. It helped a little bit. The bulitine is on Mack E-Media if you want to read it..
