  1. PS the Prince valves make a lot of heat! https://m.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200414715_200414715?cm_mmc=Google-pla&utm_source=Google_PLA&utm_medium=Hydraulics > Hydraulic Valves > Adjustable Flow Valves&utm_campaign=Prince&utm_content=2040&&gclid=CjwKCAjw6vvoBRBtEiwAZq-T1UYfKxiWZ2hbKNNrfHABqpZkn1eFlH6aUi9dx9HnIVO8fqe43Vz-BhoCVgEQAvD_BwE
  2. Coilovers are going to want to return to center. We use Prince valves to control the speed of some hydraulics on our volumetric concrete trucks. They get used on snow plow spreaders commonly to control spinner speeds. Honestly it sounds to me like you just need to adjust the pressure relief valve, hopefully your system already has one. Power steering systems should be set around 700 psi.
  3. Nah this is just Chalfont Doylestown and New Britain. Small local parade. I didn't see a superliner.
  4. Was hoping I'd see an old Mack in the parade this year, glad my hometown has one!
  5. Add a stabilizing shock from tie rod to axle like solid front axle pickup trucks use sometimes?
  6. Sounds like an old Jeep Wrangler. Short wheelbase with power steering you can roll one over real easy if you aren't careful. Modern Jeeps have a progressive power steering that keeps them from being overly sensitive at higher speeds. Not sure how they work.
  7. He had a hissy fit and signed an executive order that Trump overturned. Unicorn rockets are legal.
  8. Whhaaaaat?? Not around my town. I run a 15 mile (20-25 max) radius in central Bucks County in Pennsylvania. There's only a handful of roads in the area with 55mph speed limits, and I'm never on the PA turnpike. PA triaxles gross at 73280 unless you're pulling a trailer then you're at 80k. I was more so thinking site work dump trucking not highway paving...
  9. So of the transmissions mentioned here what is the best one (or your favorite) for local triaxle dump truck type work? The T310M looks like it matches an 8LL except for multiple reverses.
  10. If The Big Six from Macungie goes missing I didn't steal it and Dan doesn't have it for 3D replication!
  11. What's more risky is letting a greenhorn know where the keys are to a truck that nice!!!
  12. Not your ordinary hippy, that's a pro-USA rocket Mack-retro hippy van!
  13. Japan woke us up. Yes what they did was a bruiser, but if they didn't then there's no telling what Hitler would have done with what remained in Europe. I'm no history buff at all, but since WWII has Japan ever picked a side against us in a war? My grandpa was on his way to the Pacific when the war ended, thank goodness. Some things I will never spend money on: gambling/lottery tickets. Was stuck behind a guy at a gas station years ago for about 15 minutes while he decided what scratch offs to literally spend half his paycheck on. (It was a Friday) May as well piss on your hard earned money and give it back to your boss.
  14. Is that rear cab mount crossover bar factory? Never seen that type of bar before.
  15. Shame to part out such a good looking truck, but I know the parts will get used to make other trucks look as good or better!
  16. So on the econovance E7 the injection advance runs from 5* to 28*, depending on emissions and specific engine characteristics. How exactly are the vmac1&2 injections done? Are they PLN with the econovance that acts like a points&condensor spark advancer? Anything electronic about the pump and injectors other than the econovance?
  17. I'll take your B over that Autocar any day of the week! Never drove a B, but their look is growing on me!
  18. Just kidding.
  19. That bastard stole the seats outa my minivan!!!!
  20. Not that were ever going to see gio again, but am I I reading the fuel chart right? 1200 rpm is the most efficient rpms to run the etech 427 at?
  21. I know you set injection timing to whatever the engine tag says, usually 18* or so at idle. I assume it advances as rpms increase. How many degrees advance is typical for a diesel? Specifically thinking about etech engines. Playing with some toy robot programmable microcontroller. Curious if it could handle a diesel engine.
  22. Some 2x4 wood fiberglassed in as reinforcing ribs does wonders for repairs. My dad's repaired pretty much every hood we have, everything from the spider cracks on the top of the hood to corners busted from snow plowing. I can't see damage to anything other than the fender plastic, and that should unbolt. Any cracks should get a rib fiberglassed on the inside of the hood and the area on the outside should be sanded down so a filler can be worked into the crack. Then once that's all hard sand it smooth and shoot some paint at it.
  23. If you punch your town/city into your profile someone here may know of a local place that'll take care of your alt for you.
  24. Great looking dog too!
