  1. I have my doubts it real . Even at that, it's funny as hell and unfortunately not extremely overdone. It's not hard to think of a time seeing someone keep trying something over several times in situations they get into.
  2. Now you don't know if that's true . Might've been Prime
  3. I stand corrected. In the driver's defense though, he did continue on to deliver that load .
  4. 🤔 we have a new type of truck driver here in The States...... they can't go backwards either
  5. If that is the issue, and that tool comes into play ? someone's gonna have awfully sore arms by the time it's all done
  6. Probably rotted by the bottoms of the liners.
  7. Don't look back.... you're not go'n that way
  8. Eh..... just as well it was a little flash in the pan. You'd maybe ended up still sport'n a mullet , on dope and Taylor Swift would write a nasty song about ya.
  9. Sounds like a good time to take the oil pan off it, pressurize the cooling system and see where it seems to be coming from..... then get ready to spend some money.
  10. Doesn't hurt to take the blow gun and blow some shop air over the hole Joey's talking about while trying to fill it back up.
  11. The Mud Mountain guy was on Hiway Through Hell in one episode. Then he ended up with his own show.
  12. !!!! due too limited supplies OD reserves the right to substitute actual rocks with dried dog feces !!!! gotta watch the fine print too
  13. Joey's right. Never mind shims, if you have a torque rod that's the wrong length to start out with . Someone has nice big bushings in them already.... which don't come in them ( so good chance they could be wrong length ) I see the shocks are on the back (good) You're way closer to being in line than you think as far as making it work goes. Major issue with side to side misalignment is those torque rods (or something to do with them)
  14. The side to side torque rod does determine the difference I see on the tape measure. ( most of it anyway ) all those new U bolts are going to need to be retightened before long. FYI, that truck isn't really fixed from what's in the pictures , might be a little better than it was though
  15. Now now Bob...... at least that one chick is a hotty You need to get on The Weather Channel and watch Mud Mountain Haulers, just tell the Mis's if you watch much more Big Bang Theory you're gonna be overcome with the urge to start sit'n down to pee
  16. I think Roger Penske used the same philosophy as those guys in Peoria , went out on top and let someone else have the headaches to come. Not sure I could fault the guy for that.
  17. With any luck... really far. God help us
  18. He's just not as comfy on that side of the lens as some of his subjects
  19. Hall Scott is pretty big (one of that model anyway) I've only ever saw one in real life. It was big , sorta like big bore Cat in some respects. An impressive looking engine somewhat like it was ahead of it's time or something. I bet as far as length , an E7 would fit where the Hall Scott would. .
  20. Guard dog and everything....... that is classified
  21. OD, you don't by any chance want to adopt me.
  22. Bottom line..... cold needs rich fuel mixture. So if after a turbo the air doesn't get exposed to ambient temp, it's theoretically warmer. (think poor man's glo plug) and then Mack had all sorts of ways to interrupt the rack's amount of travel in mechanically governed engines. ( be it to start or on the old extended range transmission models ) Old extended range transmissions with crazy low gears , nothing rearward of them could withstand as much torque multiplication as all that gearing could supply let alone any torque from the engine too . Now ???? all this can be actuated at the speed of light with an ECM.
  23. There was a Titan at the local dealership here years back. It had planetaries . I remember it had aluminum 9 inch wheels and 315s ( some special wheels ) I remember the end was planetary but not like the giant ones I'd seen in Canada that had way bigger ends. That particular truck also had an Allison with a 4 way behind it. Used for moving windmill blades.
  24. See ?? That's in case anyone ever wondered what goes through a truck driver's mind during the day
  25. Maybe when Zina's spray'n you with the flex seal you can talk her into dress'n up like that nurse from Ferris Bueller"s Day Off
