I believe they had a farm or something up here around Mt Cobb. Then the brothers spread out after that. I forget which one, but one stayed around Scranton and was involved in producing Macars ( that might be spelled wrong ) They were a short lived brand of truck made in Scranton.

Those old ones if needed you can mill a few thousands off the main caps if it was to be line bored if you're swapping crankshafts around. (lol) and I'm a firm believer in the old wive's tale about only cutting one throw or journal . -
Maybe now would be a good time to remind everyone The Mack Brothers came from North East Pa. (at least one good thing)

Best to indicate the bell housing you put back on it. -
If it didn't run (or attempt to) on starting fluid, you likely didn't spray enough in.....so best to forget about the starting fluid. Nothing is goin to be proved by running it on starting fluid that you don't already know.

It's like anywhere else. The big cities is where all the crazy stuff comes from. Most of us are normal, but outnumbered by big cities.

I get the invasion of privacy part. You have to remember though, in this day and age there's all sorts of a hole things like Google Earth and all those. You wonder how people find out stuff. Nothing is private anymore.

There's a switch that I used to use for the AC. I forget which it was but one was N/O and one was N/C it was super easy to wire into a switch like you said for over riding it on the dash. (did a couple E7s that I had one for a VIN as far as the hub and all) I too thought it was well worth the effort .

Just an FYI If anyone looks at the latest post on this thread and likes trucks ..... do yourself a favor and go through the whole thing. You'll be glad you did if you haven't already.
