  1. there is a commerclal use tireflator with a built in pressure gauge it has a lever you sqeeze to put air in when you release it the guage pops out showing the amt. of pressure in the tire one of these connected to about 8 ft of hose with a clip on chuck att. will give you plenty of room to stand well away from the tire you are airing

  5. know where you`re coming from but if you should have one 0.10-0.12 out likely theres a high spot in block that was`nt cleaned up. have seen such on 2 cyls. in same eng.

  8. guys I think i have the best one of all . i had a 65 emeryville that i had to do some front brake work on in las angeles ` i had to pull the backing plates off the front axle and messed up a couple of the flat head screws that held them on so i head to the INTERNATIONAL DEALER in dt la at the parts counter the younger guy stepped up to wait on me `i handed him one of the bolts and asked him if he had any of those on the shelf. he picked up a rag and started carefully wiping the bolt head then the threads then the end he cleaned the threads with some cleaner and wiped some more then looked at me rather sheepishly and said i can`find a part number and that was in 1969

  10. fxfymn being from fredericksburg do you happen to know a fellow named lloyd scott he owned a small truck sales lot east side of town on rt 3 in same lot as the case tractor dealer

I SEE hmmmm no hold screws appears to be a gap around all the studs never seen one glued on am assuming you have slack adjusters backed all the way off you should be able to move the shoes around in the drum I suggest you find a penatrant called (kroil) comes in spray or just licquid form put that on all around the studs and where ever else you can get to let it soak a couple hours find a piece of oak or some other hard wood set that on top of the drum and get the biggest sledge ya got a couple of whacks like you mean to hurt it should knock them loose ps I have a 16 pound hammer on a 4.5ft handle for thing like that

  14. check closely around the out side of the drum between the lug studs for 2or more recessed flat head bolts holding the drum to the hub soak the back side of drum with a good penatrent
  15. we bought diesel in texas and nm in the 60s for 16.5 cents a gallon the economy did`nt collapse then but surged why the hell should it collapse now at 2.00 a gallon

  18. those are shock absorbers the connecting rods would have connected to a hanger on top of the front springs .someone else will likely know where to find the rods or have more info than i do
