  1. i have been on roads like that in montana not sure which one that is but similar conditions and in the middle of the night to boot. i was the only dumb ass out there and hoping nothing went haywire

  6. i would guess a mile &1/2 at full load hope you find someone reasonable to straighten the situation out. will follow posted progress. i dealt with some v12 gmcs years ago the best we could get out of them was 2 1/4 mpg pulling gas tankers ps they belonged to texaco
  7. that thing would have to have a fuel inlet tube the size of a garden hose and pump to match if it were going to produce rpms/power . running in the video was at idle it sounded like .if it just died out from there sounds to me like it was for whatever reason simply running out of gas . carbs could have been fine fuel supply or lack of at fault
  8. that thing could be and usually was the biggest PITA ever put on a motor vehicle
  9. front brakes were optional then however they are mandatory for highway use now .as for the springs do you mean front or rear

  14. judging from your comment we are dealing with an american la france built v-12 engine correct?
  15. my curiosity makes me reply to your question .is the engine built by alf or is it some other mfgr.? what does the shop tell you will the eng not fire at all or does it try to start and then not run? curious to know more about it

  23. thats about a 60-64 fruehauf looks good but look before you leap shes all steel and wood -m ay have an alum roof- can`t tell from the pics
