  5. Please tell me he got cited
  6. I just went on FB and posted to him "Please report to bmt.com at your earliest opportunity. Your non-bookface fan club awaits your presence."
  7. I like them. They were a real bitch to break in but other then that they are comfy and warm.
  8. But being good doesn't protect your hearing!
  9. I love the thumbs up she gives but I don't understand why her hand isn't broken?
  10. Whoever made this meme misspelled "E9 Mack"
  11. Looked at those and had a coronary when I saw the prices.
  12. Angelo, in my quest for american made boots I did find multiple listings online for USA-Made logger boots as well as the western-style boots. They are pretty expensive though, your floor has too much oil on it, I suggest a less expensive pair.
  13. No only pictures or videos of POS's in Mack chassis do that to me.
  14. I had to take an antacid
  15. They may be ugly but they are quite comfy!!!
  16. Ewwwww why? I feel dirty for having watched this.
  17. Speaking of ugly, you better stick to barbequing.......oh.......wait.......uhhhhhh......stick to photochopping.......no....wait.......trucking...stick to trucking.
  18. I think we should outlaw guns like they did with drugs, then no one would be able to get them. Oh....wait......shit.......nevermind.
  19. NAVSSES (Naval Ship Systems Engineering Station) Carderock Division is still at the PNSY and functioning. They do a lot of sub periscope work. The Naval Foundry is still there and functioning- where they make the screws for many subs- in fact from what I understand two covered dry docks have just been built down there to do classified work on subs, maybe in conjunction with NAVSSES. NISMF (Naval Inactive Ships Maintenance Facility) Still operates there- mostly storing and caring for ships awaiting disposal. I do not believe any of the ready reserve fleet is still at PNSY.
  20. $219.00 later...........Just arrived today.
  21. Pictured is a 26" thick hunk of a captured Yamata class BB which was punctured by a US Mark 7 16" (Iowa class BB) gun during a test. The only actual US/Jap BB battle was Guadalcanal Nov 12, 1942 when the USS Washington traded shots with the IJN Kirashima. If you like to read and enjoy US Naval history, I highly recommend the book "Neptune's Inferno" by James D. Hornfischer about that battle. One of the best books I have ever read.

  23. The Iowa-Class BB's were almost as long as Forrestal-Class CVA's
  24. Some pictures I took of the USS Iowa BB-61 and the USS Forrestal CV-59 tied up on the "Battleship Quaywall" on the Delaware River at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard when I was a civilian firefighter there. I think I took these in the spring of 1997, by then the PNSY had been pretty much shut down and the ships there are under NISMF (Naval Inactive Ships Maintenance Facility.) Had I been caught with a camera in some of these areas when the PNSY was in full production I would not be here. Most of these were waiting for disposal but a few were part of the ready reserve force (could be activated, steam in the kettle ready to turn screws) within 96 hours.
