  1. Lol. That's what would happen here. A surface to air .30 caliber.
  2. I have nothing to hide so it doesn't bother me much. But if I did have something to hide a lot of us people can get around cell phone surveillance and cameras. Its a give and take thing. They invade our privacy, but it supposedly makes the U.S. safer. If they're catching terrorists I say yay, but if they're after a 19 year old selling pot or listening in on your neighbor having phone sex then I say nay.
  3. I run a lot of gravel roads and soft roads with my CL. It has 3.86/3.87 rears and never runs out of power but thats with a 18spd. It runs 1300@55mph 1500@65mph and 1610@70mph
  4. I've always ran rotella and I have a e7 with a million miles and no new bearings and that don't even use oil. But I figured on this one I'd have Mack do the service so they use their oil. I may be switching to rotella on this one........
  5. Like he^^^^^^ said. Theres only a few filter makers out there but walmart buys them spec'd a certain way to get them cheaper, Napa does and so on.
  6. 2015 titan with 55,000 miles on him. I gross 91,000 lbs. Im empty for about 1/8 of the miles I put on. I make 8 stops to fill the truck and I average 5.7 mpg or 6.3 mpg if I keep my idle time under 10%. And I run interstate the majority of the loaded miles at 70mph. But I do burn a gallon of oil to every 2700 miles. Otherwise zero issues with this truck.
  7. Bearing on the steering shaft. I chased this one before for awhile
  8. I'm glad this thread wasn't "trucks and fairies"
  9. What kind of dash cam do you have?
  10. I think she looks damn hot! I'm a sucker for redheads. I'm not crazy about the blue dress but those can come off.
  11. You know how hard I had to look to find Studebaker! Lol thats cool
  12. Pulling a hopper bottom tou should never need 425's 11's should be fine unless you're putting over 15,000lbs on your front axle. I actually get longer life out of my 425's

  14. This is why I'm not a dealer. You buy a truck used, it's your baby. Everybody thinks that when they buy a used item it should perform like new. They think everything should be warranted, thats why you buy new.....to cover any unforseen issues. Everyone should know by now that all trucks of a certain era were trouble. If you dont know that......you shouldn't be buying a truck. Nobody wants to do their homework till after the fact. You can go to Mack and give them the VIN and they could've told you all of the issues.
  15. My titan is nothing like the Volvo. Just the engine. Different axles, tranny, cab, sits way higher. The mack titan has more Australian influence
  16. At least Volvo and Mack do not share cabs.......yet
  17. Im with SWalters. My drives take a ton of abuse. I never run caps. I run Michelin drives and get $90 back for the casings. Steers are 425's and I have the best luck with Kumho. Auxiliary and trailer axles I run the Chinese.
  18. I believe I know the previous owner of this truck. He runs an all Mack fleet and has great maintenance. His name is Don Janson 320 252 2019 is his number
  19. I bought a 1994 ch613 off of lease. It had 311,000 miles. The bunk got pulled off and it got double framed. It had 40k air ride in it. We put a 3500 gallon milk tank on it and it pulled a pup. The truck grossed 51,000 pounds full and the pup was 30,000 pounds. We ran that truck right to a million miles with absolutely zero issues ever. Only did maintenance. We added a leaf to the front springs, and when I saw the greaseless pins and bushings I thought they wouldn't last long....we never had to replace them. Our R's and RD's were double framed and we replaced crossmembers and were always working on the front ends.
  20. I use all mack. I can get the oil filters for under $6 and napa is about 3 times that
  21. A/c systems require maintenance just like the rest of the truck. Dryers should be changed every other year, condensers should cleaned out good and evaporaters need to be cleaned. Also lots of guys don't like to keep the inside of their cab clean. Its very important to keep dog hair and dust cleaned up, otherwise it'll get circulated through the evaporator and it plugs it up tight. I have removed what looked like "rugs" made of dog hair from evaps
  22. How about finding a used apu unit?
  23. Lt's are my favorite
  24. E9? Hows it fit? I'd love to see the fabrication work.
  25. That CH is probably the most economical truck out there. If it was cared for it will go an easy million. The ch cab is quieter, roomier, better a/c, better heat, the doors dont fall apart like the R model doors and window hardware and if you insulate them good, theyre quieter and cooler yet. I loved my R models but I hated the door hardware and the doors.
