  1. New Case equipment has Iveco engines. But some iveco branded engines are Cummins engines and some are not. I have a 170 hp McCormick tractor that has a 6.7L "iveco" engine. But the Cummins 5.9 and 8.3 were designed in a joint venture between Case and Cummins
  2. Isn't there two switches on the dash? One will power everything but the headlights and the other will do the headlights and the outside clearance lights on the cab.
  3. When I bought my Titan I priced out a granite and titan. Truck for truck. $6700 difference. I also priced Titans at other dealers and they were way higher priced. I think a lot of salesmen figured guys would spend the extra money. I'm running 91,000 pounds gross on a six axle straight truck. The granite I tested with the "heavy" frame was 80,000 on six axles. The driving difference is night and day. So glad I spent the extra $6700. Same thing as driving a CL or a granite. What pisses me off is most of the salesmen I have talked to, knew very little about the trucks. I would give them my specs and they would say "we don't do this or offer that" What ever happened to the guys that eat, breathed and slept Macks? If you're selling the stuff you should take some time and know things.
  4. Give us hillbillies a blower and some tools and we'll outrun a rocket.
  5. I'm still for a big block long hood, set forward axle. But not a bulky looking hood, I like narrow as can be. I know this truck can be built by mack/Volvo. The cab can be lowered for owner/operator, paccar makes it work. I do like the size of the current cab and some mid roof sleeper options would be great
  6. It's designed so that in case something internal goes bad with the pump and locks up it wont hurt the gears on the engine.
  7. Spray some "armor all" on it. It works well for rubber squeaks
  8. We have always changed at 10,000 miles. 15w40 rotella. The idea behind synthetic is to run 40,000 or more miles, otherwise youre wasting money.
  9. Why does it have to be one way or another? Why do we need republicans with heavy religious views? Why do we need democrats that have to tow only their party line? Its all about ego. Government should stay out of peoples personal lives and just govern. If my neighbor lady with 3 kids on welfare wants an abortion, go for it. Its her that has to live with it. But if she wants welfare and handouts she better be able to pass a drug test, and do community service. Our people are just plain lazy
  10. I have always said, the man who is smart enough to be president is smart enough to not be president. All guys running for president, want to be president, that is the wrong reason.
  11. Those are some heavy duty nipple clamps!
  12. We can buy new alcoa lvl 1's here for $230. I'd have a hard time paying someone to much to polish old ones. The polish shops in town here get $34 wheel no matter how bad it looks. Theres also a handful of shops around with robotic polishers so I'm sure that drives price down
  13. Lol. My taperleaf will do the bounce too. I am pretty sure that's when I lose the rebound clips
  14. I always said I'm gonna put a actual concrete chimney in the back of an old truck. There's a farmer with a big hood Pete running around here with two 18 inch culverts for exhaust pipes. Some guy on the cb was saying how dumb it looks.....he had 10" pipes on his pete. I don't think he got the satire of it.
  15. I have both setups and honestly I can't tell the difference in ride. The taperleaf CONSTANTLY pops, bangs, clunks and loses the rebound clips even after I put new springs and bushings in. The multi leaf never made noise for me. These were both 20k setups in CL's
  16. Wow. You'd think a reputable place would stand behind you. Sounds more like ring and pinion weren't shimmed right or something like that
  17. 41chevy and kscarbel2, I would love to have coffee with you guys any day!
