  1. thats sharp.....and my favorite generation Dodge P/U........
  2. Looking for a 6-8" three jaw puller for about a week. Need to do a front wheel bearing in the wagoon, and have several offers to press the old bearing out and new one in, but I need a puller to get the spindle out of the car. Located 30 mins North of Guelph, Ontario and willing to travel. Thanks in advance Jordan
  3. That's a special kind of stupid there......wow......
  4. Looking at the rig chained to the tail of the Landoll, turning much wasn't an option. I've seen something smilar with cranes (think giant baby mobile on a crib, Mammoet did it i seem to think), and scapers....twin engined A-C(?) pulling a series of scrapers from giant all the way down to a toy. I'll see if I can find 'em on YouTube.
  5. That is some friggin sleeper....about the size of my apartment.....lol
  6. I would bet yes. while i am not familar with the v8's (tho id like to be ), not sure if the internal balance would allow for 1/2 brake. What does the switch have on it, ON and OFF?
  7. just some wheels and fresh fuel, and she'll drive outta there
  8. Things like this are common in the bush in northern ontario, my cousin just posted this to her facebook, and you guys seem good at the "what was this" game. Let's see what you got lol
  9. hahaha....whoops....hes gonna need a change of shorts....and socks....and shoes......lol
  10. thats pretty neat.....I still have a rubbermaid tub FULL of lego in the basement. Just waiting for the kids to be old enough
  11. too bad im all outa likes. should have gone, passed a number of those rigs friday....looks like a good time
  12. I was almost ready to just rip the f****r of the cab, flip the elbow on the "exhaust cube" behind the pass step and make it into a weed burner..... Tried all kinds of crap, just collected more crud and made noise again....never thought of amor all. it was more of a vibration from the stack wearing through the bushing at an angle from the arc of the cab moving....
  13. I had the one on the granite (2011) i used to drive replaced, not due to rattles, but squeeks as the cab moved. Lasted about two years. My buddy is driving it now, and just had it done again, Mack did the first one "free", but i think they payed for this one
  14. Cool "truck", stupid exhaust. I bet that 1.6L IDI motor has a hard time filling the stack, let alone rolling coal. Unless its been swapped for an ALH or BEW 1.9l TDI
  15. That's what I had been telling the boss man. 1/2 the money for twice the truck. Nothing wrong with a new one, but NOTHING beats a sharp older one
  16. Place I used to work at was kicking around the idea of retiring the old RD, and replacing it with another new Mack. But the increased complexity of the new trucks and the laws made them just kick the can for a while. While their "new truck" (2011 GU813 that I used to drive) hadn't given much trouble, they were weary of having the same luck with a second truck. So they instead put A TON of money into the RD. Only about half of what they would have spent on a new truck, they basically got a brand new truck, minus the frame rails. My buddy sent me these from the Mack dealer that did the work on Friday. New cab, new interior, new tanks, new fenders, new....everything. Remack E6-350, new Eaton 8LL, new Mack rears.... For before pics look in my album "RRR Inc"
  17. Could also be ANY electrical fault....get the blink codes and post them. Someone will be able to help you
  18. Agreed. How long while driving does it take for the compressor to cycle off/on/off?
  19. check the cabin filter (inside the "kick panel" on the passenger side i think) if not running on recirc.
