  1. Yup agree with the above ! Good call bro you got a working truck and the money pit weren't as bad as I predicted Good on you! You pulled the trigger on a decision and have a working truck for the time being! Just bare in mind everything we do here in Canada costs a 1/3 more so your price there is likley a third of what we would pay here! Also THANK YOU For posting your fix and the decision Made ! It may help others in this situation! And YUP HAVE A GOOD CHRISTMAS! πŸ˜‡
  2. Screws out they are supposed to have a end on them to poke the poppet !
  3. Remove the screws an see if the ends are still intact! The tips may be broken off!
  4. Bro in the title RB! likely a shepherd Box! May be the circle stops aren't set properly ?
  5. I'll turn my hearing aids off now ! Chainsaws are to loud! πŸ˜‚πŸ™„
  6. The key to a long lived clutch brake is Three fold!(One) A driver that understands what its for! ( two ) adjusted correctly (right at the floor ) ! (Three) Lots of grease on it! I would install these with lots of grease on them specially the aluminum one ! This gave the brake a half chance of living past the first hour of its life if the driver was un educated ! If you have to wait a second or so to put the dam thing in gear SO BE IT! At least I won't be tasked on installing another brake on a Screaming hot engine!😑 My opinion!
  7. Well i had a message from KScarbel a while back, has be busy doing stuff elsewhere! I miss his posts as well! Miss a whole bunch of these guys! Kevin is a very knowledgeful Dude had some real insight into the trucking industry! Haven't seen Rob on here for ever! Problem is Some of us are getting Old And could crater any second !πŸ˜” So if I don't post once and a while you may have to come looking for me or who knows ! I do check in almost every day Got to keep an eye on you guys You might stray off topic! πŸ™„
  8. If Pros fix don't do the trick ! here is a remote possibility it is an injector however pros fix is more likely we ran into this several times u need to use die to find the issue!

  10. Would be nice if that shut down and malfunction light worked
  11. yup good plan Joey! I have a question? Are you missing any other functions? Heater fan dash lights etc ? I’m wondering if one of the 4 -5 big main relays a fubar in the system there under the dash?
  12. I will post this in the hearing aid forum when Barry makes us one!πŸ˜‚I have to say the aids don’t really help the ringing much I find they are best at amplifying shit I don’t want to hear! You know my wife babbling dishes rattling that sort of stuff! πŸ˜‡πŸ€¨
  13. Check the big wire going to the bottom of this box! also As I and Mack pro have just mentioned If the engine starts and runs for one minute it is a timed shut down either the low coolant low oil psi Or coolant temp! That said if ever thing is going down there is a main power glitch!
  14. So can you get that malfunction light to work that would help some! If it shuts down after a Minute of run time I believe you could have a faulty oil or temp or low water sensor!
  15. yup
  16. Ya were gona have to get Barry to ada a new chainsaw forum soon πŸ€”still more important than politics πŸ˜‚
  17. I'm not maybe reading this right how ever ! I load the cam in the peanut cage and fumble that whole lump peanuts and all into place the slots on the inner cam face towards the rear to let the oil from the main case flow up the shaft to the pd ,rocking the yoke back and forth till it slides in leave aprox 3/4 of an inch out to put silicone around before buttoning it up!
  18. Cyl no! If you look at the picture of my project there I pack the saw on the tractor if I leave it in the sheath bolted to the fender it always smells of gas!
  19. I agree my 066 leaks if its not left on its side! Used to use husky 2100 for my logging projects but when that saw wore out I switched to stihl Its a beast just eats the wood! As an addition to the comments Iv'e always avoided posting to personal attacks on members ! Even to defend a person your better to withhold comment! just tends to stir up shit!
  20. Yup thanks for posting the fix!
  21. Thats quite the wood chipper on the exhaust there !πŸ˜‚
  22. That's awesome news! I believe you'll find the CAC you have as adequate for the HP your shooting 4! In my opinion Check it for boost leaks after you assemble ! Check the pump timing as your saying AND If you can drive the thing your self! I firmly believe the heat theory is wrong but that's Me! The intake valves don't wear that fast and can't see heat affecting them in this short time period ! At least they are coming to the party! Good sign! also thanks for cross-referencing the cam I really couldn't remember if e7 had and off set Key that's how bad the memory is getting! GETTING OLD! and I know it!
  23. Good Call 67!
  24. Not sure Paul ! I am not well versed on MF ! This is a buddys tractor! I have a Davey Brown It had a clutch switch at one point it is now Disabled !The MF had a failed fuel supply pump when he got it I replaced the pump changed the oil to get the fuel out of the base! The trans switch I found to be an oddball safety feature the clutch switch made more sense to me! That is why I asked this question!
