  1. I seen how pampered these need to be assembled ! I also seen guys use the injectors over and fail 2 months later! Its hit and miss if you don't replace everything from what I seen! Onyx I Think For the most part the MP engines bottom end are a solid in design! The top Not so much! The Fragile and temperamental head and fuel system design spoils the pudding for me! If Joe were to take on doing these cups at his shop he wouldn't sleep at night wondering WHEN they will be back ! sure there's lots of work out there in this department however he has no dealer or boss to hide behind when things go sour! And sour is Easy to achieve with this set up! I have not tried this or heard of any one trying of re torqueing these injectors after a weeks running or so how ever I think it may aid in prolonging how long they would last! That said a bunch more messing around! Joey got a good gig there just working on a sure fire gray engine that you can for the most part count on not to come back on you! untill The Big V opens there Eyes and Redesign that fuel system nothing going to convince me of anything different! Guess it comes down to my insecurity and not had the opportunity to really bond with the product in some respects! I bonded to the gray stuff knew its weaknesses and strengths Very for giving to repair BlaBla Bla! As always my opinion!
  2. Really ! not up to the challenge buddy ! ? Or just smart! I choose the latter!!๐Ÿ˜‡
  3. Moral support from me only ๐Ÿ™ Iโ€™m just a side walk superintendent!๐Ÿ˜‚
  4. Yup ! Pay attention to Onyx610! Also injectors can be reused if the sealing areas and non sealing areas on the tip of the injectors are ok!!!!!! You don't want to do the job twice! Its a warning ! Don't over look it! Seen this job backfire trying to cheap out! Be absolutely sure your injectors a usable! Just sayin!
  5. Your better of going to a mack or volvo dealer ship that has the tooling for this project! You can pre plan all you want you always find your short something! Also it can get so bad even priming it will not keep it running! specially if you are working it hard! Just sayin!
  6. All good bro just donโ€™t want to step on toes! Buddy!
  7. Don't want to take work away from Joey But ! Mike did you pull that fitting right out don't just take the wing nut out pull the whole fitting! I have had those pugged solid with corruption! Do this first before getting carried away!
  8. Yup agree with the above ! Good call bro you got a working truck and the money pit weren't as bad as I predicted Good on you! You pulled the trigger on a decision and have a working truck for the time being! Just bare in mind everything we do here in Canada costs a 1/3 more so your price there is likley a third of what we would pay here! Also THANK YOU For posting your fix and the decision Made ! It may help others in this situation! And YUP HAVE A GOOD CHRISTMAS! ๐Ÿ˜‡
  9. Screws out they are supposed to have a end on them to poke the poppet !
  10. Remove the screws an see if the ends are still intact! The tips may be broken off!
  11. Bro in the title RB! likely a shepherd Box! May be the circle stops aren't set properly ?
  12. I'll turn my hearing aids off now ! Chainsaws are to loud! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™„
  13. The key to a long lived clutch brake is Three fold!(One) A driver that understands what its for! ( two ) adjusted correctly (right at the floor ) ! (Three) Lots of grease on it! I would install these with lots of grease on them specially the aluminum one ! This gave the brake a half chance of living past the first hour of its life if the driver was un educated ! If you have to wait a second or so to put the dam thing in gear SO BE IT! At least I won't be tasked on installing another brake on a Screaming hot engine!๐Ÿ˜ก My opinion!
  14. Well i had a message from KScarbel a while back, has be busy doing stuff elsewhere! I miss his posts as well! Miss a whole bunch of these guys! Kevin is a very knowledgeful Dude had some real insight into the trucking industry! Haven't seen Rob on here for ever! Problem is Some of us are getting Old And could crater any second !๐Ÿ˜” So if I don't post once and a while you may have to come looking for me or who knows ! I do check in almost every day Got to keep an eye on you guys You might stray off topic! ๐Ÿ™„
  15. If Pros fix don't do the trick ! here is a remote possibility it is an injector however pros fix is more likely we ran into this several times u need to use die to find the issue!

  17. Would be nice if that shut down and malfunction light worked
  18. yup good plan Joey! I have a question? Are you missing any other functions? Heater fan dash lights etc ? Iโ€™m wondering if one of the 4 -5 big main relays a fubar in the system there under the dash?
  19. I will post this in the hearing aid forum when Barry makes us one!๐Ÿ˜‚I have to say the aids donโ€™t really help the ringing much I find they are best at amplifying shit I donโ€™t want to hear! You know my wife babbling dishes rattling that sort of stuff! ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿคจ
  20. Check the big wire going to the bottom of this box! also As I and Mack pro have just mentioned If the engine starts and runs for one minute it is a timed shut down either the low coolant low oil psi Or coolant temp! That said if ever thing is going down there is a main power glitch!
  21. So can you get that malfunction light to work that would help some! If it shuts down after a Minute of run time I believe you could have a faulty oil or temp or low water sensor!
  22. yup
  23. Ya were gona have to get Barry to ada a new chainsaw forum soon ๐Ÿค”still more important than politics ๐Ÿ˜‚
  24. I'm not maybe reading this right how ever ! I load the cam in the peanut cage and fumble that whole lump peanuts and all into place the slots on the inner cam face towards the rear to let the oil from the main case flow up the shaft to the pd ,rocking the yoke back and forth till it slides in leave aprox 3/4 of an inch out to put silicone around before buttoning it up!
