  1. Thanks for the info Mike. I noticed a few pieces missing from the yard myself. Others moved to different areas with For Sale signs on them now.
  2. For the past few years I have been looking at this B61ST that's been sitting at Gerharts. Last year they moved it out of the junk yard area. This year they had it on the grass for the show. There was no For Sale sign on the truck & its not listed online. Its still in decent shape. The cab has rust but not too bad. Everything seems to be all there. I also love the dual aluminum tanks. It wouldn't been that bad of a restoration project. Vin is B61ST49052 which from some research it might be a 65 or 66 model. Unfortunately I am not in the position to buy it if it does come up for sale but I am wondering if anyone knows anything about the truck and its history? Its the one truck I keep going to see every time I am there.
  3. I was there yesterday. I took a bunch of pictures in the junk yard and some of the show trucks. I'm planning on heading back out in about an hour or so with the wife. I should make it there before noon.
  4. Wow, that looks excellent. I love the painted tanks. A lot easier to keep clean too. What are your intentions with this truck?
  5. I watched the reveal myself and I thought "huh, just a vision with a bad facelift". All of this hype for this? But when I had seen this picture and thought that's not really bad. I hate the hood mirrors and the grill was a little off putting at first and the headlights are not really doing it for me but the more I look at it, it grows on me. I think its just something new we are not use to. Mack is not going to make the R models or Superliners, or B Models any more. That's a fact. They went for a new more modern look to set themselves apart from the rest of the over the road trucks. Its a bit harder and tougher looking than the rest of the Areo trucks out there. It may just get them some extra sales... or not. I'm withholding final decision until I see one in person.
  6. Holmdel Nursery's (trucks in the picture) also has a nice single axle R-Model dump and a Superliner tractor. Mack runs deep at their place. I grew up in the same town.

  8. My 1980 Firebird Formula. I bought this car in 1990 when I was a senior in High School. Tore it apart in 2002 to do a frame off on it. It's still apart.
  9. Why does stuff like this come at the wrong time? Exactly what I've been looking for, just not ready to buy yet. Cool wrecker.
  10. We used to vacation a lot in Vegas a few years ago.. Even got married there by Elvis! I always say bring the amount of money you can afford to lose. If you bring home some of it back, you won.
  11. Nice C126 Mercedes! I've always had a soft spot for them. I was very tempted to buy one I took on trade in my old Dealership I worked at. It was an 89 560 SEC. But those BMW's are fantastic! So nice to see several Alpina B7 coupes and 8-series coupes together. I also see a C4 Corvette down the line as well.
  12. Vlad, I really enjoyed your pictures. I find it fascinating that there are that many American trucks running around your country. I also enjoy your pictures of your country. Please share more when you can. Good to hear from your again.
  13. Pictures, details, specs, location, price etc. We need to know what you have.
  14. His son passed away a couple years ago. The owner is still alive. My buddy did an appraisal for insurance purposes on the B81 last year for them. I doubt the trucks would go up for sale any time soon.
  15. I was trying to get a good picture of Ricky's set up but he was surrounded. Good to meet you at the show over the weekend. I hope the trip back is uneventful.
  16. it was good to see everyone and meet new faces, and put faces on those I haven't met yet.
  17. I am here! Sandy and I actually came out Thursday night (arrived at 11:30pm) to get a head start today instead of showing up at noon-2 Friday. It will be good to see all of you guys again, and the trucks.
