  3. A place that i used to work made vary large fab pieces and they put the job on top of a flat railroad car roll it outside to be blasted with that "black blast" or they called it "black beauty" vary nasty stuff by the time they were done with the job you could of filled 4 or 5 tri axle dumps with what was on the ground.
  4. I have a 711 with a turbo and been wondering the same thing. A old trucker friend of mine told me it should have between 230-250 but he's no Mack guru so there's just a idea of what it could be. Rudy
  5. There is a set on there now but the guy said he only thinks its for a 711. I googled the part number and found stuff saying it was for a e6. I have no idea how to even find the part numbers to find the stuff I need. Rudy

  8. I am 26 and not a lot of people I know understand why I got into this hobby. I always liked Mack trucks and one day I was looking at pictures on the internet and seen how many people were into old Macks and restoring these old.trucks, that I decided to join in on the fun. Your right in saying people don't understand how big a part Mack played in building this country like the Bethlehem steel did. Once again I thank Barry and the other bmt members that make this site possible for us younger generations to get involved with this hobby.Rudy
  9. Well guys the way I'm looking at it is if I pull up a picture on my smart phone and hold my finger on the screen and it let's me save the image that's there own problem,I did try to save some and my phone wouldn't let me do it so no big deal. For those of you that have these phones know that now most of them you can take a screen shot of anything that's on your screen, they should not blame us they should blame technology lol . Thank you Barry your response was perfect like the other guys said. Since I'm not a truck driver and I'm a younger guy I wouldn't be able to really get into this hobby without the support of this form and its members and the pictures they post. Rudy

  20. When did the allentown plant come about. I worked for a company that had a building that was part of Mack at one time and I seen a picture of it from the 40s judging by the cars sitting around now this company I was working for was the former GATX fuller company and the Mack machine shop was next to it. I was told this little building was bought by fuller in the late 60s or early 70s and that the first Mack trucks that were built in allentown came out of there. I was also told.that at the time of fuller buying the building Mack had some small musieum there. Rudy
  21. The F model day cab dose not look anymore spacious then the MB cab.
