  2. yeah thers a hard line coming from the bottom tank with a cap on the end after that the rest of the line gos to i guess a regulator on the driver side frame rail. do you by any chance have any extra b81 only parts like the radiator cap mine is missing i cant fine any on line and theres a srip off steel that bolts between the fender and hood.
  3. I took a look at my truck and its a mess there are steel lines running all over the rear frame rails there are rubber lines coming from the brake chambers to what looks like a regulator of some sort mounted on the rears. There are 2 levers in the cab but I figured there both for the pto. Out of all the lines there's one coming from the tank to the front brakes all others are cut and the steel ones are caped. Rudy

  8. A quick story about positive ground. The fire dept I run with had a 66 American lafrance in the 80s it was in a bad wreck the truck sat around for a year until they decided to rebuild it when it came back from lafrance and had all the equipment put back on it was over the truck gvw and had a positive ground lafrance never told the fire dept about that and as they put the radios and other electronics in they shorted out. They sold the truck in 1991 to a fire dept in the southern states 10 years ago the we got a random phone call asking if we owned this truck and did the pump work because the truck burned up and these people wanted to rebuild it no one ever told the people it was positive ground when they bought it and they started wiring stuff to the truck causing it to burn.
