  2. Bob, I am 6'4" and had no problems with the 3000, BUT the Compact was a horse of a different color!!!
  3. In 1969 I drove a White 3000 in the city of Syracuse NY for over a year.. Then they replaced it with a Compact.. There was not room enough between the wall under the seat and the clutch pedal to bring my foot up onto the clutch!!! Had to swing it over the brake and back.
  4. Mech, Same down here: Last Saturday night on I-26 north of Spartanburg SC, Dry Road, 4 or 5 cars and 1 tractor trailer.. Big A$$ FIRE and 5 people from one family dead.. NO more details on the news as to cause???
  5. JoJo, I have to agree with you.. Down here what we called a dustin' they call a Blizzard!!!! Up in Oswego County NY we started at 0300 AM, plowed 6 to 12 inches of new snow off and sanded the roads, AND the school busses ran on time!!!!! Down here if the weather forecast says it might snow, they start closing the schools..
  6. Eight Up:: You best and cheapest way out is to locate a local spring shop and have them replace any broken leafs.. As Bob said try Google?? And another way is to look around for a local trucking company, dump truck or heavy haul outfit.. Their shop foreman should know of a local reputable spring shop.
  7. I have also plowed snow with a 1950 Walter with a V and single wing in Oswego County NY.. Mechanical brakes, when you needed to stop just push in the clutch and drop the nose plow!!!
  8. I drove the 50's Brockways with flathead Continentals gas jobs in the city in Syracuse NY in the late 60's and in the summer we folded the sides of the hoods under and held them down with tarp straps to let the heat out!!!..
  9. Here is a Walter in Upstate New York late 30's:
  10. Just give her the tools and say"HAVE FUN"!!!!!!!
  11. So now Mack can only dig holes in half the yard??????????
  12. Maybe we should not laugh??? Weirder things have happened with the Dumbocrat party..
  13. Back to museums!!! The Keystone Museum in Colonial Heights VA should be at the top of everyone's list!!! First exit north of the 85 / 95 split with 18 wheel parking.. Tractors, trucks, toys and a on premises diner.. And a motel with in walking distance.. Plan on spending ALL day!!!! Call ahead and a group could possibly get a back room tour of their shop???? For the drag racer there is the Gartlis Museum in Ocala FL to combine with the ATCA Winter Nationals Bushnell FL in January.. And the Brockway Museum in Cortland is actually 4 museums in one!!!! The Central New York Living History Center..

I know Canada's day is July 1st, but I do NOT know what year????
