  1. JoJo I have the same here in SC.. You just can NOT operate a vehicle if either you or the vehicle generates ANY revenue..
  2. TJC: I know exactly what you mean!! Sit at kitchen, eat breakfast, and watch the news,, Then go in on this damn puter to check emails and truck sites.. Suddenly it is NOON and I have not done anything productive???
  3. I have to do the same!!!!!!
  4. Bob, BUT Obumma is still behind Biden pulling the strings like a good puppet master!!!!
  5. Will it be salvageable??? the right front corner looks BAD taking that tree out..
  6. Larry, You are right.. Maybe Springfield MO??? As I did NOT make Auburn or Ft Wayne.. I knew about the Studebaker but not the Sightliner or other makes..
  7. Our prayers are with you and your family.. Besides the change of diet, quit smoking if you did, and gentle regular exercise, did the Doc's say anything about a rotor rooter job or other major surgery????
  8. Thanks for the pictures.. With the length of that boom out back, that Oshkosh needs more weight up front if they pick up anything Heavy...
  9. Thanks Paul... Did they have any older Macks????
  10. The man, my age, that rents my pasture land said his son has a friend who runs a local slaughter house and he has been selling a lot of his beef cut and wrapped.
  11. $300 Grand???? What and what kind of weight is he going to haul on a Tri-Axle rollback??? Especially enough revenue to make the payments.
  12. Black Dog:: Thanks for the excellent picture... I am not sure you have the wrecker labeled correctly?? Both the radiator emblem and the hood side emblem look more Diamond T than Diamond REO?? The Diamond REO's had the name spelled out on the side of the hood.. And the Name Diamond REO was formed on May 1st, 1967.. A typo it could be a 1962 DT?? You do not say what make the tank retriever is.. Diamond T started making the 980 / 981 tank retrievers in 1939 to British specs.
  13. DCW Thank you for researching this truck.. This is an interesting configuration!!! Especially for North Carolina.. Both Quebec Canada and Australia use or have used the twin steering set up extensively. Now all I have to do is figure out how to post your info on the Australian truck forum the picture came from!!!
  14. I think you a close!!! That is about when I would guess..

I had a delivery to our plant in Luray VA one day and there must have been 50 Model T's going to a meet at the Luray Caverns facility. They were strung out all the way from US 11 south of New Market to Luray.
  16. This “Build back better” thing must be waiting on building permits or something.
  17. Matt: It worked for me.. When I clicked on your link a got a small white box in the lower left corner.. clicked on it and you video opened fine.. Thanks!!
  18. I do not know what engine RPM your spreader needs to work properly?? With enough low gears in the tranny (quad or tri plex) you should be able to do your spreading work without abusing the engine so it should(???) last a long time. Especially if you truck the material to be spread to the yard or field rather than having the spreader chase a long way for it..
  19. And it is NOT just a show piece... They use it to haul other trucks to various shows..
  20. Mech: you are correct on the Viet Nam era name.. Living and running out of North East PA in the 70's I ran the "Trail" a couple times a week.. It was the village of Milford PA that objected to all the truck traffic. The village of Milford did NOT want a bypass in the 60's, afraid they would lose their precious tourist traffic trade, then bitched when they got all the truck traffic when I-84 was opened across NY..
  21. Our condolences to your entire family.... I am with TJC and stay away from the citys!!!! My son in law, born and raised in Conn, Cannot figure out why I come up to Scranton PA and I-81 and across I-84 to their place instead of I-287 across the Tappan Zee bridge.. NO WAY IN HELL WILL I COME THRU NYC!!!!!
  22. Glad you enjoyed the show.. Hope to see you at Colfax this week
  23. Paul, That warped picture does not help, BUT I will guess a late 50's to mid 60's model 257???? It is a 200 series and i do not know exactly when the 300 series with the big square grille was introduced..
  24. When you mentioned Roll Up trailer doors I knew exactly the bolts you were talking about..
  25. Any Guesstimate on the split between antique and working?????
