Popular Post farmer52 Posted February 9, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted February 9, 2015 Been looking for a nice used "golf cart". Put a deposit on a 2005 Club Car Turf 1 this past week. Included in the deal are new takeoff cargo box and front cowl. It has less than 1000 hours and one of the better ones that I viewed. It has the smaller FE290 Kaw engine (wanted FE350) but will do for now. It will make its debut at York. So now if I get tired of walking, I can ride my bicycle or drive the cart. Four valves per cylinder, fuel injected, water cooled. About 160 H.P. You could win any race back to the clubhouse. (I think you're gonna need a stronger differential and drive axles though.) I am considering a pair of aluminum ramps from Discount Ramps (~$500). I figured the ramps need to be 12' long (based on wheelbase, clearance, and deck height).
