I wonder when the red and silver Werner from St Paul/Chicago went belly up. It is strange that both Werners used the arrow logo.

I'm sure shortly after deregulation,James.

Werner and Continental merged in 1967 to form Werner Continental in 1967.

Hall's Motor Transit purchased WC in 1979.

Hall's folded in 1986.

The former Pitt Ohio terminal in West Middlesex, PA was a WC (and later Hall's) terminal. It's hard to see from I-376 at night, but there is a non-trucking company now using that building.
