One of the model makers was still making those a few years back, I want to say Monogram maybe? I have one new in the box unopened somewhere in the deepest darkest bowels of the attic of my garage.

EDIT: Here ya go, Revell....although I certainly didnt buy it from FAO Schwartz for 69.99...

Oh yea, I have two of those visible V8 engines. I started building one of them, but I haven't finished it yet.
