Yes, they're still in business. In 2024 they moved from their 14,000 sq. ft. building to a larger 35,000 sq. ft. building in Watertown. Business is good.

New Haven Trap Rock ; another name /company big back then but forgotten today, intersection or not for some reason the Mack going wrong way based on lines  in middle of road; unless he swerved to left hoping to miss the car.

or he may have been rolling down the road minding his own business and the car ran a stop rite in front of the truck, with the driver steering left to keep from loosing control until it stopped.
