  1. That's way cool. Somebody will grab it for a one of a kind resto-wrecker. If you were a lot closer I'd grab it up.
  2. Let's see a test drive video! Looks like you did a great job.
  3. Good looking critters, the one on the right reminds me of Flash.
  4. Happy birthday Bob.
  5. Good to see the world isn't so jaded as we think. Keep up the good stories KS.
  6. Great pics Vlad, looks like you had a great trip. I really want to drive one of those futureliners. Think it would be really fun sitting up so high with the giant window to look out of.
  7. i know it may not be fair to assess someone from a video like that but it seems to me that he was genuine in his speech and seemed to care about the product he was showcasing.
  8. 3406 B cat was 425hp. Nice looking truck.
  9. Wow, looks like you have a real piece of history there! Lots of power for the era.
  10. If my memory is correct didn't you say you have the build sheet from the Mack museum? Would that tell you what engine it was built with?
  11. Hope you have better luck finding it than I did. I'll have to talk to my grandma because years ago grandpa and his buddies put together a short video/slideshow of different pictures and videos of flathead valley. Old loggers and logging jobs, I'm sure the dam was on it and I'm sure home videos of the 64 flood were on there as well.
  12. Yep they sure did.
  13. Sweet video, looks like fun.
  14. You would think the government could figure out pretty easily if a license was fake or not. Just check at the ports and scales and weed them out with an instant deportation with no if, ands or buts.
  15. Ok that makes sense, I figured there was something I was missing.
  16. What am I missing? Wouldn't 7 forward gearsX3 ranges=21 plus the 3 ranges in reverse for a total of 24 gear changes not 16? Just curious if it was a typo or for example creeper range couldn't be used with gears 5, 6 and 7? Good read at any rate.
  17. From a average joe's perspective things don't seem to add up at Volvo. It seems they've done nothing besides buy established companies in the market they want, then (usually) axe the company they bought and then try and fill the void with their product to gain a foothold but they never seem to really dominate any market. Is that just my perception? If not how can they afford to continually dump money into what seems to be a fairly unsuccessful venture i.e. heavy trucks?
  18. Looks like you're west of kalispell judging by the hills and trees in the background. Beautiful country at any rate.
  19. Sharp looking truck. With a great Montana background.
  20. Looking good. Nice fab work. Going to look really clean and well done when you're finished.
  21. I bet both parties involved needed to change their shorts
  22. I see quite a few oversize loads but always enjoy seeing more, keep 'em coming.
  23. 3406E and an 18sp, my favorite set up I have ever driven with the 444 Cummins a close second. Looks good.
