  1. It very we'll could be Gross Lumbers Big Horn you saw Otherdog. I've seen that tan colour Bighorn pulling a flat bed load of lumber down around Norwalk OH when I used to haul pipe down to Dalton and Wooster about 6 or 7 years ago. It was all polished up and looked really good.
  2. I got 4 more sets of stainless fender guards back from the sheet metal guy today. If anyone is interested in a set PM me your name and address and we'll send a set out to you. Price is $100 a set.
  3. The bell housing looks to be Mack. What trans is it for? I have a 12 spd with a cracked one. I might be interested if it would ft a 12 spd.
  4. Managed to bring home a couple dogs too one stuffed one from Mack I think I'll put it in the Superliner for when we take it to shows. And I scored a brand new chrome dog and base for $80 from a guy selling toys and stuff ,so I figure I got it for half price and it'll look good on my Superliner.
  5. I'm not big on the colour choice of this Binder but it's still cool to see one.
  6. We saw a couple old binders on our trip to Toronto yesterday one on the way up we passed on 401 and the other when we were going home we stopped at RJ's to look through the fence.
  7. Yeah it was a pretty good show. It doesn't compare to MATS in Louisville two weeks ago but it was still pretty good. I took Sneakers with we again, Mack did have the best display. I did the same survey I did in Louisville and got a different Mack hat than I got there and I played their game and got one of the stuffed bulldogs to put in my truck. Sneakers liked the Rawhide and he did look good sitting in it so we might have him sold on one. We were at the Mack booth around noon and I ran across another's BMT member from my area Charlie the owner of Charlie's Place in Chatham who is doing the restoration on the Waylon Jennings B77 we've talked about on here before. So we had a visit and took a group photo to post from a couple of our Canadian BMT guys at Truck World 2014.
  8. Ok for any fellow Canucks checking out Truck World 2014 tomorrow in Toronto. I'm going to be there if anyone wants to meet up at the Mack Display for a visit and a group photo we'll shoot for around noon like the boys in Louisville did a couple weeks back. I'll have Mack hat on as always and probably be wearing a Mac Trailers shirt so and it think we'll make up some sort of a BMT sign so you can find myself and probably the infamous Sneakers as he wants to go.
  9. I've had good luck using a left hand drill bit on broken bolts, 90 % of the time they work loose while you're drilling and thread out. Plus they're easier to drill before you heat them and you can heat them after if they don't thread out with the drill.
  10. Yeah RJ's generally has good clean well maintained stuff on the lot. Another friend of mine bought an 89 KW W900b from him close to 20 years ago and is still running it daily even with the 444 Cummins it has, it's been a good truck. I saw a RawHide in RJ's add in Truck & Trailer that would have been a good starter truck for Sneakers. RJ's sells a lot of trucks so you gotta be fast.
  11. I don't know for sure if I'm going or not. Probably one of my friends will go, the kid that went down to Louisville a couple of weeks ago with me wants to go so we can stop at RJ's and look at a Pete on the way up there, so I'm going to have to pick it apart and try and talk him into a Mack product. I'll know for sure tomorrow night. Maybe a small BMT sign would help everyone find us.
  12. I had a little spare time and the weather is finally better so I got the Superliner out of the shed this afternoon, and took a photo. Then I backed her inside again and I changed a damp wheel seal and decided to pull the drain plugs on the rear ends and let them drain overnight. Oil was dirty but no metal in it so if I get a chance tomorrow I'll put a little Lucas and fresh gear oil back in.
  13. Two is all you need. 4 is only needed in extreme conditions. I had just 2 to start my dad's E9 around the yard and it had 2 in it when the guy came and picked it up and it started when it was only 10 degrees out on 2.
  14. Cool! You don't see too many B Models out doing a days work too often anymore. I bet she turned a lot of heads and got a few thumbs up too.
  15. Nice R Model. Hope it sell quick for you and goes to a good home.
  16. Nice Cruiseliner! I love it! What did the previous owner haul? Judging from the pics of his truck that I've seen before his fleet looks to be well taken care of. Nothing wrong with spring ride either can't get any simpler. I had a 92 MH 192" WB with a Hendrickson spring suspension and air ride cab, it rode good. A bit rough bob tailing on a bad road but hooked on a trailer and with a load on it it rode great. I used to go all over the place with it. If you put stir ride on the cab it should make be good.
  17. I might be going Saturday. Any other Canadian BMT members going? Maybe we can meet up at the Mack booth at high noon for a group photo like we did with some of the others down at MATS last week.
  18. Pretty simple it can only be one of 3 things Cable, Speedo Drive at Tranny or the Speedo itself. All are pretty cheap to do. I'd check the cable first.
  19. I hauled cars for Allied Systems for a while a few years ago. You always measure the height of your load before you head out with it, and you always have to have an eye for overhead obstacles when you're driving a car carrier because you don't want to so much as put a scratch on a new car most dealers check them pretty close when you deliver them. And there's nothing on the overhead deck to keep you from driving off the end like that guy did. Looks like those guys got some explaining to do to their boss! Lol!
  20. This Forum is intended for Mack enthusiasts to help one another out. Not Mack Exporters!
  21. Agreed !!!! The man says it's no longer for sale that means it not for sale anymore! Leave the man alone!
  22. I'm gonna have to do Macungie too. There just gets to be too many things going on to go to in the summer months. I usually go to our own antique truck clubs events up here. Maybe I'll switch Bowling Green Oh for the pulls for a trip to Macungie. And yes it's possible to get laid up there without speaking French as a lot are bilingual. Lol! I we could have kept Sneakers sober enough to function last year there would've been hope for him. Lol! Wish I still had the pics from last year but I lost them other wise I'd post them.
  23. It gets just as hot up here as it does where you're at. But we still get the odd southerner vacationing in August up here with skis on the roof of his car asking for directions to the ski slopes. Lol! I live in Canada's most southern point and it's over 550miles for me to where the truck races are and they still get temps in the 80s and 90s in the summer .
  24. MH battery boxes and Superliner II boxes are the same. I believe UPS covers were the black ones.
