  1. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
  2. Momack Thanks got the help. I'll go back and trace the wires and then replace them making sure I have power to the switch. Hopefully I can find a replacement for the switch and have a new brake light circuit. As to the low air I'll get the lights working first. Again thanks
  3. My brake lights are not working on my '58 B Model. I crawled around underneath it looking for broken wires, etc. found these two switches and do not know what there are. The first one I thought is the brake light switch since the one wire runs to the lights but not sure. Sent photos to a knowledgeable B model person and he has never seen the switch. I'm asking the BMT brain trust for help in identifying these two items.
  4. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
  5. I did not take any pictures of the interior. I can give you the phone number of the owners business if you are interested. Send me a PM
  6. Larry. Are you thinking about Jay's Mack that had a couch in it? It was at my house when I had the mini Mack rally.
  7. Most truck driving schools use sleeper cab trucks that have had the bed removed and replaced with seats. Also, Kenworth uses a studio sleeper that has a couch that converts to a bed. An older converted truck should be far less in cost than a new custom order one.
  8. Was talking to a Mack fan at the truck stop the other day while I was fueling my Mack. He was driving a two year old Pete, company truck, and I asked him how he liked it. "Its a piece of crap, wish I had my old Volvo back. It was a much better truck." Just repeating what he said. Those are his words not mine.
  9. Cummins6900. As far as the RV license you mentioned this is not a federal regulated issue but a state regulated issue. Each state has regulations as to what type of license is required to drive an RV. Most of the license requirement are various classes of non commercial licenses. As to Ohio, where I live, I can drive any RV no matter what the size is with a normal operators license. For the past 7 years I have owned Prevost buses converted to Motorhomes, think entertainer coach, and all that is required is a regular drivers license. This is true even if the RV is built on a Class 8 chassis. Use it as a truck - CDL required, use it as a motorhome - no CDL required. Again, this is an Ohio regulation. I do have a Class A CDL. Just my 2 cents worth.
  10. Ken, actually spent part of day getting bus ready for trip next week. Going to Batesville Casket Co. Batesville, In for continuing ed combined with a visit to daughter in Kentucky. Only about an hour apart so works out well. Tom. That is so generous of you. I'll take you up on it.
  11. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. They are greatly appreciated.
  12. Welcome Jr. I live up the road from you in Hubbard, near Youngstown.
  13. The daylight photos definitely show two binders and a partial chain laying in the road. One of the nighttime photos shows an oversize flag on the roadway.
  14. Carl, Great find and congratulations. How many quilting shows do you have to attend to stay in Bonnie's good graces?
  15. I have a 2000 Vision with a 460 and experienced the same Jake problems. Had Jake rebuild and very little improvement. Added external oil kit and had some improvement but not great. Changed engine oil and added two gallons of Lucas and could not believe the difference. Pennsylvania mountains on I80 I had to brake going down I can now go down without applying brakes. Also saw a 10 lb increase in oil pressure.
  16. Dick had a great collection. He had 4 large buildings packed full of trucks. I believe that is his Mack bus next to the FL.
