  1. I had a 77 R 600 that the brake lights would not work,it was the relay by the fuse panel under the dash. Ron

  3. I have tubeless and run 60 psi in the back 90 psi on the front. when i went to Macungie hauling the F-Model i pumped the back up to 80 psi, alot better ride bobtailing with 60 psi than with 90-100psi. Ron
  4. I see you are from Indiana, there are tons of dump trucks and semi dumps that are all over Indiana that haul out of the Delphi Limestone quarry i was wandering if you ever hauled out of there.( more Macks and KW than all the others put together) Ron
  5. Take the injectors to a diesel injection shop and have new injector tips put on it will be alot cheeper than buying new injectors. Ron

  7. Rob if you want to go real fast i have a set of 3.65 gears out of a 97 Mack. are you going to Elnora this weekend. Ron
  8. You should have them check it with the parking brake off when there is pressure going to the valve. with the brakes set there is no pressure at the reversing relay on the intake so it will smoke more. Ron
  9. Rob i have a RTO14613 3.87 11.22.5 hitred tires at 2200 i am running 79 to 80 MPH. Ron

Morgan, Mike and I will be there saturday morning rain or shine. got your cam & lifters out of the 300, if you want me to bring them let me know. i was planing on bringing the block and cam but didnt want to haul that block all the way down there.( drilled 12 holes in a block of wood and numbered which hole they were in).   11. My brothers 78-F Model has a 350 cummins and it is 12 volt negative ground he has 4 batteries. an E6 MACK engine will start with 2 good 12 volt batteries. Ron
  12. I thought Fireman and Mikey had the best looking Macks out there. in the aug.,sept. landline magazine there is an artical about Jerry Kissingers 91 Superliner he took best of show in the working combo at the great west truck show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Congratulations to both drivers. Ron

  15. I dont know anything about boat motors but,i replaced the oilcooler on my E6 because i was getting oil in the coolant.i would look at the oilcooler. Ron
  16. You could get the brackets off of an R model but i have drove R models with and without shocks on camelback my opinion you would be waisting you time and money they dont help. Ron
  17. Dose anyone have a chart on B61 model front axles, i am looking for the numbers and the pounds rating on the axles. i tried to get on the oldmacksrus.com website for the axle numbers but no luck. Thanks Ron

Morgan, Mike and I were leaving wed. morning.i will be hauling Mikes F-Model he will be driving a pickup truck,wish we had a longer trailer to haul both. if you are looking for a motel theres a Super 8 one exit west of the Macungie exit. nice motel,last year around $80 a nite. we are staying at the Hamton Inn on st.rd. 100 a little pricey over $100 a nite.will be leaving sunday morning to come back home. i will see you out there.   21. Check with Watts Mack i bought the whole kit a few years ago, they used to carry the cross tube and tierod ends. Ron

  23. Mike that is a great looking truck all that chrome will keep Mikey busy,the stacks look better behind the doors instead of behind the sleeper. i will have to check it out at Walcott. Ron
  24. I bought a B model a few years back in Hyden KY and the truck was restored by Lexington Mack anyone know if they are still in busniss. Ron
