  5. Theres a guy I know that had a 2009 Rawhide with a MP8 that's had 4 sets. they traded and got a new KW with a Cummins.
  6. I picked up the Indiana Auto&Rv today. there is a 78 Transtar, Cummins, 10 speed, runs great, for 4,000 or best offer in Frankfort,IN. phone # 765 652-0123 about 20 miles from me. WWW.autorv.com Ron
  7. I talked to him out at Walcott at the truck show couple years ago for quite awhile seem like a nice guy. I was asking questions about his truck.
  8. At work we have a 90 CH that has an E6 350. when was the last year for the E6, and when did the E7 come out.
  9. I would take my old B model before I would drive a new Volvo, at least you would be driving something with CLASS.
  10. Sounds like you might have a loose valve seat.
  11. What injection pump do you have, the 315 had a Robert Bosch, the old 237 to 300 had the American Bosch.
  12. Put a pair of Riker glass packs on a non turbo 903 and you have about the sweetest sounding diesel ever made.
  13. IT sounds like fun but I have a B61 with a 315hp 13 speed, air ride, cruise control, XM satelite radio, air conditioning, jake brake, air ride seats, and a sleeper. I go to Macungie every year 700 miles one way from home, when I get home I don't want to see that old truck for a while. I cant imagine running 20k a year, good luck. Ron
  14. Ok thanks I always liked the looks of those.
  15. Check www. slclighting.com
  16. What model was the two story falcon, I thought it was the N but I guess not.
  17. The only guys that cuss the old Macks is the ones that don't have one. the old 237, 285 300,350s were 672 cubic inches, the old Cummins were 855 cubes. the old 237 would run with a 290 , the 285-300 would run with a 350 cummins, the 350 Mack would run with a 400 cummins. the Macks were rated at the rear wheels. the cummins was rated at the flywheel. the same horsepower the Mack wins. there are more older Macks running out of the stone quarry in my town than any other truck 90% Macks and over 50-60% are the old R Models with those old under powered engines. the other trucks are newer.
  18. I was trying to post pictures but no luck, when I find it out I will post some.
  19. There was a B61 at Macungie a few years ago that had a tip turbine on a 4v engine, I would say if you used the whole setup off of a 285 it would work( you would have to make sure the studs on the manifold is the same as the heads) but I have seen it done. but I would use the turbo off the 4v. just my 2 cents.
  20. There was a guy a few years back at Macungie that had a tip turbine on a 4 valve 350 in a B61, he was pulling a box trailer that said Fire Dept. on the front.
  21. You better have a trailer on it on the way back so you can stop.
  22. Hi Morgan Mike and I will be there. always something to do all day long, great show. is the Ponderosa Steakhouse still open in Washington. see you this weekend. Ron
  23. I have a 69 Fruehauf 40' long 13' high that has a flat nose.
  24. You forgot Ronnie Stoneman too.
  25. TV sucks anymore. there was more to watch when I was a kid in the 60s on 4 to 5 channels than there is now on 400 channels. they changed speed channel to Fox, history channel went to hell,so did TV Land, and they put that loud mouth Roseann on 2-3 channels at the same time. too many reality shows on any more, and about every year or two they raise the rate. that's what I think about TV
