Much less and it's scrap value then everyone on here would be complaining because he's selling it to a scrapper.... A lot of complaining about asking prices being too high, a lot of complaining because guys sell their own property to someone who ships it overseas, a lot of complaining about guys scraping trucks. I wish I had the money to buy at will, but like almost everyone, I don't so I just accept the fate that these vehicles see.

Well... It's not the big stuff but here is my snow removal equipment. I got out of the contract snow removal a couple years ago so I sold the Mule but still have the truck. The last two pic's are from the last weekend in January just a few days before January 2014 became the January with the most snow in the history of record keeping for the Ft Wayne, IN area at 30" which bumped 1982 to #2 & the blizzard of '78 to #4. Incidentally Feb 1st became the wettest Feb 1st in history when we got 1.14 inches of rain.... We're bracing for Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday afternoon now.

The model kit that was available during that period. I began a build on this painting it like one of our units but never got it completed...

I had a calendar from 1978 that had the three "liners" in it in this paint scheme and the January picture had all three, The Cruiserliner, Superliner & Valueliner lined up. I loved that pic!

Mike H should chime in on the model #'s but MH613 would be a tandem axle, Mack powered tractor, MH612 single axle Mack powered tractor, MH633 tandem w/Cummins, MH632 would be single w/Cummins & I believe MH653/MH652 would be Cat powered. I'm not certain that I am correct in everything here but the XX3 will be tandem axle & XX2 will be single axle.

Hey all, This is obviously not truck related but a very dear friend of mine, Becky is looking for her birth-mother as she was adopted shortly after birth. She is actually the person who took the pic of my tat that I use as my avatar just a couple days after I got it. I am posting this here because her adoptive parents believe that her mother may have been from Penna. She believes that her mothers last name may have been Stutsman (unsure of correct spelling). This is the message that she posted on Facebook along with her picture: "To all my FB friends and everyone who may share this post for me. I would first like to say thanks for the share because the more we share the more chances I may have of finding my birth Mother. I also want to add that I have been contemplating finding my Mother for about 10 years now. I am torn with the fact that back when this happened she was sent away by her family to an unwed mothers school so that there would be no shame in her family. I surely don’t want to disrupt her life now if she in fact never told her family now about me. I of course would love to see her just to see where I came from but I in no way want to hurt her or her current family. I would like her to know that I was adopted and raised by a wonderful, loving family who taught me family values, morals, honesty, to have a great work ethic and to stand up for what you believe in. They have also never kept from me that I was adopted and they are behind me 100% in looking for my birth Mother. I also want her to know that I do not hold anything against her because she really had no choice. Mike, Do as the doctor's tell you. Last March my mom (in Indiana) and my dad (in Florida) both had surgery for preipheral artery disease. Both had the same basic procedure (by-pass of arteries in the left leg). Within days my dad was up & doing well by following the doctors orders. Dad quit smoking back about 1984 but still smokes cigars in the evening. Mom is still struggling to this day but she spends all day sitting on her ass in her kitchen playing solitaire & smoking cigarettes. Just a few weeks ago my dad scored a hole-in-one in one of his two weekly golf leagues. Mom is proud that the gangrene is almost gone but can hardly walk because she has refused to follow doctor recommendations to the point that shortly after surgery she was suppose to be going to the hospital to spend time in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber but she refused to get up before 8am so she could be there by 10am. Please, please follow doctor recommendations. Those guys seem to know what they're talking about.

That's not one of the kits. That appears to be part of a conventional KW Aerodyne bunk grafted onto the Cruiseliner.

Don't remember a lot of issues with the '03's but the '04's... Wow! Fan hubs, turbo's and camshaft's. Company that I grew up around is a mostly Mack fleet, has been since the 1970's. They purchased 50 new 2004 CX's. I was running the tow truck for the local Mack/Volvo dealer at the time. I towed 22 of those 2004's. One of them I towed for all 3 of the above reasons. Buy the time all was said & done Mack (corporate) purchased all 50 trucks back. The company purchased available Volvo's to replace the 2004's then Mack arranged for the dealership to take the Volvo's in on trade against 2005 & 2006 Mack's. I do know there were some turbo issues starting with 2001 Mack's and continuing for several years as well as some other things but nothing like what I seen with the 2004's.

a bit belated.. Happy Birthday!!! 25, hmm.... My 25th fell into that abyss of time that is really fuzzy that started around 16 & went until 30. I hope your's was a good one!

I think the biggest issue is the fact that once we get our license to drive it is ours as long as we can read an eye chart. We no longer need to take a test to renew in most states. Most jobs require remedial training of some sort from time to time but now driving is no longer a privilege but a right...

25 years of use with poor maintenance and to most people it is just a piece of machinery. I'm not surprised. It is sad though.

I pulled this off of a Superliner at Central Truck Parts in Sylvania, OH several years ago and added it to the block heater plug on my Chevy. I thought that the "MACK" cover was discontinued for a plain cover. If this is the case then there is a chance that the org part # will supersede...

Because some ATHS members have Peterbilt's & those are strictly forbidden on Mike's property. Even though & have a picture of Mike wearing a Peterbilt hat @ Auburn in 2005....

Don't care what "the point" is, It's my money, I bought the car, I own it, I can do with it what I choose. This would be no different than when an owner posts a picture of his Superliner with a huge visor & front bumper. It's his truck, his money, etc. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion about a look, style, what have you but in the end the only person who has to be happy is the person spending the money. Do I like the big visor & bumper look? NO! Am I gonna run the guy off the forum because he likes it? NO! Everyone should feel free to voice his/her opinion but don't chastise those who feel different than you. That Corvette was built to be driven in 1978. Not to set, collecting dust for 35 years then to set forever, covered in dust in a museum. Corky Coker is huge on barn finds and leaving them "untouched" but he has also said when the time comes some of his (probably 100's) cars will be restored or become customs.

A lot of those vehicles caught my attention but the '78 Indy Pace Car 'Vette would have been my dream. Left parked inside the entire time. Yeah, it still would have needed a frame-off restro but damn would that be a car to have.

Parrish Leasing, out of Ft Wayne, IN use to have one. I drove it several times but lost track of it about 10 years ago. It was sold to a company in Lima, OH and beyond that I don't have a clue. I will however make an inquiry to see if by chance they still have a file on it & if they do it will have the VIN.

Hope you can get the money around, can't be many 1960 Trailmobile T4-02-22's left in this world!
