  1. If you haven't done any primary inspection I would point you out to the brake light switch wich might got stuck in "on" position. Don't know where it could be located on Midliner and the most forum members seem like about that either. So not much of help to your post. I had the same issue with my R-model some while back. Found the switch being attached to the firewall. Actually you should look for a unit wich is attached to a air line and has a wire terminal (or two) on its body. Connecting/disconnecting the wires or wire to the ground (chassis) you can check it's what you're looking for or not. Sure might be a short circuit in the stop light wiring and so on. In my case (to my big surprize) the trolley valve lever on the steering column was moved a bit from its off position and that initiated brake lights for all the time. It was with no trailer either. But that how it was with a R-model, again, no practice with a CS. P.S. If you google Renault Midliner electric scheme that could be the way to go. Vlad
  2. So no one want to make aftermarket reproductions? Seems like the demand exists. I get that on mind myself and see not much of a trouble to fabricate them locally. But it would have reason to be done as at least 10-20 pieces serie. No market for them in Russia and I'm not full of an idea of how to ship them overseas.
  3. Ok, worked that out. Thanks to the thread announced that option.
  4. If you ask the owner of the original truck he might share a set of the Liberty decals. I might be wrong but as my memory tells he made some extra prints when reproduced them. Oh, I'm almost wrong, they would be too big for you
  5. Looks like no less than 5 grades of gray are required. 10 would be better. I'm tying Carbon currently and it's feeling strange so far. And uncomfortabe. But two others are close to make me blind !! And please put "Vlad" in the place of my nick name or user name, just don't know how to call it right at the moment. Hope your headach with the site tuning up will decrease soon.
  6. I can say on a top secret basis that he is currently work on the possibility to continue posting on here since his upload limits are almost achieved. And as I could figure out the things don't go smooth. Hope Burry will work that issue soon. And it seems we should denote our appreciating and interest to his posts, that might help. Vlad
  7. So if we turn 400R up to 2100rpm's would it bring its whole 500? And who is fjh? Bob Dingsdale??
  8. Welcome and good luck on the project! Vlad
  9. Oh, hell! Now I see my old and long forgotten pasword is in place of my username. What the hell is going on... Hope We'll be able to go through all that since it's not the end of the world. I hope
  10. Just got off for a day and found out everything "upside down". That noted Dirtymilkman's post announce titeled "WTF" and calmed down. I'm too from being a fan of unexpected changes and hate when it happens to a thing I deal with. Sure can understand a tech issue wich could initiate a "collapse". Would like to see the forum's look as it was before.
  11. Cool family day! Hmm..., I just meant it was cool with all the water drops. Now I see that yellow thingy is big! Looks great wet washed
  12. Tom, don't drink too much, that was just a coil !
  13. Your T2070 has 0.6 in the top hole. The same is in T2060 and T2080. T2090,2100,2130 and 2180 are slower in OD, only 0.71. T107's are lower again, 0.78 if not direct. So if you want to keep your top speed or RPM's at the same level on the same speed T2060 and 2080 are the way to go. If you'd like multiple speeds you're in the rears swap field. Any tranny you'll put your eye on you should check about a top speed ratio and relate to what you have (0.60). Than make the math.
  14. I'd go with silver or black. Dark cherry might work either. Actually if you really want you can go with many extraordinary colors too such as green or blue if you put some minor parts colored the same on the truck. For examle green door script and some green lines over the tank or wheel rims. Lettering color that matches a chassis paint might work nice if chassis is bright or attractive.
  15. A scuare visor is one nice looking thingy on a MH. I'd like to get one either. But It's difficult to find and costy to ship overseas. And actually I'm not too far on the MH resto to get me scratching my head with not top important part. Congrats on the V8 deal.
  16. Sorry to hear about your grandpa. People use to age, not become younger though. Neat pictures, I like the RW dump. And the road shot with the rocks in the background just kills me.
  17. Thank you for sharing. The oversize load is impressive. It gets me thinking on how seldom I can see anything oversized here. Sure there are some big showels or cranes transported but far from to be that much. I know there's a dead planty of ristrictions and other BS about oversize transporting and it seems to me as a mark of the economy development. Easier to say some ones do job and the other just busy creating restrictions... And the coil sure got a drop. Nice pic with a green B-model.
  18. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how AC could make cool your LEFT knee
  19. Keep on the progress! I don't know do you have AC in your truck or not but driving mine in the summer I found out that the roof vent work fine. Gives alot of fresh air in and cools off the inside. I would say it effects much more than I would expect. On the other hand you can cut a hole in the plate you weld any moment you want to. Just vent assembly would be required.
  20. They don't indeed. Because it's a dark time on the East Coast.
  21. I felt the same when put 11R24.5 on my R-model in place of 11R22.5's. Might think about 12R24.5's but the only offer was 11's to fit 24.5 wheels. Or smaller ones.
  22. Good eye! Agree By the word I once figured out that actually 12.00-24 tube tyres and 11.00R24.5 tubless have absolutely the same inside diameter.
  23. Paul, are those old rigs still in Virginia but in your conteiners?
  24. Tim, what's a story behind that green MH? I don't remember you've shared any about. A top secret object?
