  1. One of my favorites were SAAB-96. There was a guy here in Moscow in late 90's who collected 4-5 of them.
  2. Impressive sample of ingeunity and modern technologies we might be seeing on the road soon. But makes me wonder once again of compromizing efficiency with complexity and durability with a final count of the operational costs.
  3. One risky entertainment could be entered into with thjat glass hood. You should check the quality of a particular hood you're going to tinker with. Starting of thickness of the walls. Engine heat or even the sun may ruine all filling and painting after installed on a truck. OEM hoods are known of their properties but that thing might be needing some investigation. If putting it on a truck I personally would cut the split lines the way original steel parts get to each other. Just my taste.
  4. G'day Swishy, Is that the truck you can see on You-Tuuube its Lanova engine running? As for re-wiring it's one of the entertainments I'm going to go through. Gonna keep it closer looking original
  5. It just doesn't clean the right side of its track well enough. So the FR wheel goes higher forsing the axle to lean.
  6. This thread currently has more replies than the recent Pics of the week issue had. So seems like OD is still with us. And I like Vegas..
  7. That is the last thing you can do any moment. Sounds about like you have a wrong truck so should replace it completely. The power divider could be opened from the drive yoke end taking off the parts step by step. Or could be removed completely driving off the bolts which attach its body to the main diff housing. You may be getting some troubles parting it out on a bench this way though. The carriers content is generally a easy thing excepting divider. Just two sets of gears in each one. And if you have a real break of teeth you're automatically on a shoulder with no move. And sure presence of broken parts in the oil together with "silver powder".
  8. Would be interesting to put an eye onto the rear bogie setup. There should be one of its special design. Older style than you can see (and get) off a L or B model.
  9. Awesome! And I'm afraid, costy indeed.
  10. Upps. Somebody is stealing the NR. Which one is that? A Tonny Champion collection piece?
  11. That power plant on the pictures is amazing Never thought it may be possible to find such exotic unit. And sure too difficult to swap with anything else.
  12. Seems really attractive. A bit costy but affordable if you really need this particular part. And no longer avalible from Mack if you want it chrome. Thanks to Farmer52 I was supplied with a good one.
  13. Bob, have a fine and remarkable day and many more to enjoy!
  14. Happy B-day!
  15. A real unreal beauty! And nice color. The cabinet is a no comments object. That whole fiberglass cab shows some differences in shape along the back wall relating to the US version.
  16. Absolutely heartbreaking! It seems to me though you made a really good job writing the initial letter to the company.
  17. Best wishes Randy! And many more oversun's.
  18. Outstanding! I don't remember seeing so attractive looking dump truck even on pics.
  19. Congrats on the purchase! Will be a nice addition to your line up.
  20. What I see looks really great Now every next Saturday will be more and more of fun. Keep us posted !
  21. Now works Ok.
  22. That stone bridge is a cool old artefact. And the one out West is an attractive place to see too. Wish speedy recovery to the boy and thank you for sharing interesting points in PA. If the memory serves me right I passed along the river of Suscuehanna in 2013 but havent seen the statue. Probably took wrong direction from Harrysburg
  23. To my shame I still haven't switched the radio on and tried how it works
  24. Looks solid in general. And could probably be bought cheap. Gas engine might be a headache but a rarity at the same time.
  25. Cool! Wish you the weather will allow more running days in the nearest future. And more "road tests" than repairs Any general views of the truck at a shoulder or a parking lot?
