  1. Hopefully an original bumper will turn up for you, good job bringing her back.
  2. It's part of the Tackaberry Collection now, don't know if it was back in 2007.
  3. That doesn't sound like a 6-71 to me, more like a 8V-71 with a turbo, especially with one stack. Pulling roadtrains with a 6-71 would be tough...Nice B-model, however you repower it, Jessecam.
  4. Located in the Dutchess County area of NY, $400. Each Call Bob at 845-489-6042
  5. 1969 R-model with 237 Maxidyne and 5 speed taken at the Amos Post rack at "the point" in Catskill NY back in 1974-75.
  6. Can't help to notice the set of Carolina pups in the backround, when and where was the show?
  7. So you must be a retiree out of local 294 and got out of NYS quick.....
  8. Ernie, will this beauty be in Cortland in the near future?
  9. The Matlack Photo has to rank among the greatest in my opinion, speaking of Downingtown, any Chemical Leaman B-model photos?
  10. Albany Mack has been out of that building since about 1984, when they moved the operation over to Renssalaer to the former Brockway Factory Branch. When they outgrew that location, they moved to Menands NY to the former Southworth Caterpillar building, making major improvements there. Along with Fastenal, there is a large tin knocker shop in the old building, which has been there for a while. The Brockway sign pictured, is on the origional Factory Branch just up the street on Broadway in Albany, not sure what year Brockway moved to Renssalaer. There is still a Brockway sign painted on the rear of the Renssalaer building.
  11. 1997 CH with Mack E-7 454,13 speed Mack Transmission, Mack 4 bag air ride, approx 650,000 miles For complete info contact: S&G Truck Repair 754 Watervliet Shaker Road Latham, NY 12110 518-783-9711
  12. It's a pretty small photograph, but it doesn't appear to be all bent up, just paint fade and surface rust.
  13. In the latest Wheels Of Time (Jan/Feb) on page 60 in the classified section, the H-67 appears to be a former Ralph G Smith Inc tractor, for sale in SC. I can't make out the full number, but it ends in 3.
  14. Some of the first photos that I posted on Hank's Forum were scans that I made from my company's newsletter/magazine, the very next day they were removed, so I realized then, it was a no-no. I've posted pictures from Dave Faust and Gary Morton on the Brockway Site, I asked and was granted permission to do it by them, it was that simple. One of my pictures was good enough to make The Bulldog Magazine, as long as they gave me credit for the photo, it was OK with me.
  15. His is blocked off in high range, he runs it like a five speed, been that way for a while.
  16. Been told by someone who has seen it and photographed it, that it is a 360 Brockway with the cab and hood from a R700 Mack.
  17. Don't ever remember Acme having any stores in upstate NY, so it's a wonder how this B-model got relocated here...
  18. Looks like you lifted two of my photos off the Brockway site...
  19. Pawel, Along with that Marmon, that company Nenni from Fishkill NY, also sold a 700 series Brockway with a V12 Detriot down that way, be on the lookout for that one......
  20. Here are a couple links Fredrickson photos http://www.hankstruc...fredrickson.htm http://www.hankstruc...fredrickson.htm
  21. Alex, You should post the Brockway picture on the Brockway Message Board, they would love it. http://www.brockwayt...board/index.php
  22. Schwerman colors were black cab with red stripe, and a stripped bumper from early on, to B-models, to Whites, to first batch of R-models. In the mid seventies, probably around the time of the first batch of 300 engines they changed the color to the white roof and top of hood. After that, I believe they changed to all white. Schwerman also goes by the name Tank Star.
  23. Was that IHC origionally an ARCO gasoline (Atlantic Richfield) tractor? Sure looks like the ones that pulled out of the Port of Rensselaer years ago. Nice job.
