  1. ABF has 329 Pinnacles on order for 2011, hope to see some of them rolling of the assembly line at the time of the Macungie Show.
  2. Here is what I have, there are still a few trailers around being used for storage. The two top ones are mine from the Albany area, and the other Fred Gruin Photo is borrowed from Hank's. Try using Dorn's Transportation in your search. http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/fgruin/d/fg_dorns_transportation_1a.jpg http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/fgruin/d/fg_dorns_transportation_1b.jpg
  3. I believe this is what Peter J is refering to.
  4. I saw a vendor at Gerharts/Lititz Show with a whole table full of different Mack plates, they may have even been new, but sorry I don't know who it was.
  5. Here is a photo of the Mactrucknut's 1984 MH soon to be heading south to the Sunshine State.
  6. From the ATHS Truck Show held in Ballston Spa NY on 09-25-10
  7. Here are photos of the battery box and cover and the B-model bumper.
  8. Here is a photo of the one he makes for the R-model in stainless, he also makes complete stainless and painted bumpers for B-models. PM mactrucknut on this forum.
  9. You must have to be a Kodak member to view this, it wouldn't open for me.
  10. Is this better? In freight each driver brings their own.
  11. This purchase should put the total number of Pinnicles since 2008 to almost 800 units, all single axle with the MP7 engine and 10 speed Roadrangers.
  12. Matt, It was January/February 2003. John K
  13. When I was a kid, I rode in one of Red Star Express's G-models from the terminal in Glenmont NY to the Exit 23 compound and back, one fellow drove it over, and my Brother drove it back, I sat on the doghouse. I remember it was brand new and it may have been experimental because it was the only one I ever saw. I wish I had a camera back then. This is also a great place to insert a Doug Fetterly photo of one.
  14. Here's one from the gallery
  15. Got a fresh batch of Doug Fetterly photos in to pass around to the folks, I think Doug said this was in 1985.
  16. RC, This is said to be factory power steering. Happy New Year Everybody! John K
  17. Two more photos, hope they help. I can relay the question, but unfortunately, these two guys "in the know" would rather break a 10.00X20 tire than to be on a computer... The setup works just fine, pulling a 16,000 lb. camper for years. (click to enlarge)
  18. This is the setup on my friends B-75, even though he and another person in the know, say that the two and three filter system will fit. They also say it will be tight. This is the "duplex" canister and the plate on the block is one of the two pictures from the book. The bigger problem is the 676's fan is higher and doesn't fit in the origional 711 fan shroud on the B-75. My friend put the water pump from the 711 on the 676 to make it fit.
  19. Was surprised when I saw that this old wrecker is a Mack, unfamiliar with this model, but the grill looks the same as that EH's A peak inside the old B-61
  20. Looks like those heavy CHEP pallets busted right out of the trailer roof.
  21. Here is an interior shot. These photos are from the C. Grier Beam Truck Museum in Cherryville NC. Mr. Beam was the founder of Carolina Freight Carriers.
  22. It appears to be the same as this one, unfortunately I didn't focus on the model, I was too busy drooling over the B-67 and the H-67 there. (Click on it to make it large)
  23. Buy a larger one, or at least see what the pictures look like on the one you are going to buy. The photos look distorted on the smaller ones. The 1G memory sticks are cheap now and can hold hundreds of photos.
  24. In the late forty's and early fifties, my Father owned several Brockways with Continental gas engines, He was talked into buying a Reo Comet gas job and never liked it, removing the Reo engine, He replaced it with a Continental. Still unhappy with the Reo, which he had lemons painted on the hood, he sold out and went to work for somebody else.
